The Science Clubs members were still outside watching the fireworks.

I turned around to Captain, who was dangerously close to me.

I gave him another hug. "I love it!! It's amazing!"

"Glad you like it," Captain said. "Come on, let's go back to the fireworks!"

After the fireworks, we had a lot of time left. Captain pulled out a DVD player and inserted an old Russian comedy show. He pressed play, walked over to the couch, and sat next to me.

Nobody in the Science Club understood anything but it was still really funny. Then he put on the sub title caption thing and we were all crying from laughing really hard.

I was the last one to leave. Captain put the electric water mirror in the truck of my car.

"Thank you!" I said.

"Not a problem," he replied. "Hey do you like want do um, hang out over the break?" Asked Captain.

I thought about it. It was fun doing the fireworks with him. "Of course!" I said. And drove off.

I called Cassie and cleared up stuff with her.

"Why did you need to go to a party with him?" She asked.

I didn't want to tell her about Christina. I hadn't even seen her for a while. Where is she?

Two days after the break started, I went to Captain's fancy house. And like the scientific nerd he was, he showed me cool things.

Chemical reactions, robots, cool rocks, weird things made from strange minerals. It was never boring.

But more than the science stuff, we talked. A lot.

It stopped getting awkward and it was more of interesting topic.

We usually hanged out in this lab where it was always stuff to talk about.

"Do you want to hang out somewhere else?" Captain asked.

"Sure. But where?" I asked him.

He blushed and his sweating started again. He waited and then in a scared voice he said, "a restaurant maybe?"

He was now tugging at his collar for air from sweating so much.

I was confused. "Like a date?" I asked.

In a squeaky high pitched voice he said, "yeah."
