It was finally Friday, which meant Winter Break party at Captain's house.

I remembered him saying that he was going to give everyone a gift. And I know he's going to probably get me like a really nice gift.

I mean no being clingy or anything, it's just the way he treats me.

I mean that guy has a 8x6 size picture of me in his room while the rest of them are like 4x4.

Okay, I just wish, or hope I get a nice gift. I don't get a lot of those.

I wore one of my winter dress and flats. I also had these snowflakes earrings that Cassie had given me.

Speaking of Cassie, she hasn't really talked to me that much. I mean I don't know how much that party info means to we but I'll tell her all about it.

I drove to Captain's house but his driveway was already full. Some truck was parked there and inside were loads and loads of perfume and cologne bottles. That must be Storm's car.

Just before I got the chance to knock on the door, Captain quickly opened it. "Welcome," he said. "You're my last guest."

I walked in and everyone in Science Club was there. Some wore Santa's hat and others dressed like they were going to a funeral.

I should have a Fashion Crisis Party for these people.

Everyone sat on a long couch the cornered each wall. Captain stood by the TV. "Before we get to our fireworks..."

"I heard fireworks the other day, I guess some people have the same idea as us!" Cassie interrupted.

Everyone turned and started talking about how they heard it too.

I looked at Captain who looked back at me. I told him to keep it quiet and he nodded.

"Silence!" He said. One of the maid that works in Captain's house was serving hot chocolate to the members.

When she came to me, she whispered, "you must be Allison, Brad talks about you a lot."

I smiled and grab the hot chocolate from her hand.

"As I was saying, we should do the gifts first?" Captain announced.

Everyone agreed. One by one he handed everyone their gifts. Each box was a different size.

And mine, was the smallest.

As everyone opened up their gifts, I did to.

A candle.

"Ahh Captain!! How did you know I wanted this?!!" Screamed Cassie. She held up a small lava lamp. It wasn't in its geometric bottle shape. It was a glass that has a letter "C".

"No way! A laser knife! That's so cool!!" Screamed Storm.

And everyone else showed off what a great gift Captain gave.

And I was stuck here with a candle. A stupid candle. It's not even scented! What the hell?

Captain looked at me and I have him a fake smile.

"It's time for some fireworks!!" Yelled Captain.

The members cheered like they were in some sort of a tribe.

One by one, they began to launch the fireworks. They were really pretty but I had lost the mood. The candle was pissing me off.

I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me a couple of steps back. I looked and it was Captain.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Alumin," he smiled.

"What?" I asked angrily. I didn't face him, I just looked at the fireworks.

"That's not the real gift," he smirked.

"It's not even a gift dude!" I said.

In total, we had 200 fireworks to launch. Which meant it would take at least half an hour.

He grabbed my hand walked fast to his home laboratory.

Inside was a box, about the size of a pillow.

I walked up to and it stared at it.

"Open it up," he said.

Since I had a bad habit of opening gifts in an inhuman way, I tried my best to be as neat as possible.

Captain was leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

I pulled out whatever was in the box and placed it on the table.

It was that electric water mirror. It looked even better than it did before when I saw it the first time I went to Captain's house.

The mirror had a protective glass on it this time to block the water from getting it on everyone. It's dangerous electric shock if you touched the water.

Captain stood behind me, and once again, he turned on the mirror.

The little lights slowly opened and then the waterfall began. And in the mirror was a reflection of Captain and I.
