Chapter Seventeen: A Set Date

Goku's P.O.V.

"Vegeta." I stopped eating staring at the man who seemed to be making Tilly uncomfortable. I never really noticed before but, whenever it came to my best buddy and Tahil, he was always staring at her.

Any other time I wouldn't have thought much of it, but it was the way he was watching her that made me feel the need to demonstrate that she was mine and mine alone.

"Let's go talk." I got up from the table without another word and walked away from everyone else, far enough so that I was at the edge of the lookout. It was a moment later that Vegeta made his way over to me with a scowl on his face.

*Same old grumpy Vegeta.*

"I need you to understand something, Geets." I turned to look at him, watching his arms fall to his sides as he stared at me with an unreadable expression. "Tahil is mine. She is the mother of my children, stop trying to find a way in. Don't think I haven't noticed." I ground out, watching his brows furrow.

He gave his signature scoff and looked away crossing his arms. "Idiot you have no idea what you're talking ----" "---I know you want her. I won't share." My giddy nature was slowly dissolving into irritation. His head snapped to me and he stared in my eyes for a long moment, growling.

"Kakathot---" he started to say, but I lunged forward and grabbed him by his armored shirt, snarling. "---ENOUGH VEGETA! YOU WANT HER AS I DO, IT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I'VE SEEN THE WAY YOU LOOK AT HER! I CAN SMELL THE WAY YOU WANT HER, I MAY ACT DUMB AND SILLY TO APPEASE EVERYONE ELSE BUT IM NOT!!!" In my rant I watched his eyes go wide from realization and also the fact that I was even watching him that closely.

"Kakarot... I-I don't know why I feel the way I feel when it comes to her, but I WOULD NEVER HURT HER, NOT ON MY LIFE!" He snapped getting just as angry as me. He shoved me back roughly, his hands clenching and unclenching at his sides. He was fuming mad just as I was, challenging me for her and he wasn't going to win.

"I know you wouldn't hurt her, but you have a wife, son, and daughter...why go after mine?" I questioned, calming down slightly making sure my voice didn't raise as it had earlier. He stared over the side of the lookout for a long while before answering, his jaw clenched tight. "She's the only one that stirs something inside me. Whatever I felt for Bulma disappeared a long time ago. The only reason why I haven't left already is that I love my children."

He wasn't the one to show emotion, that wasn't Vegeta. It was either a harsh talking to or nothing at all. You'd be lucky if he spoke to you for more than a minute. But hearing this caused my anger to spike.

"Vegeta!! Bulma is like my sister! You do anything to hurt her and I'll break your face. You do anything to make My Tahil uncomfortable and I'll kill you, no questions asked! DON'T EVEN LOOK AT HER!" I snapped, giving him a firm shove right in the chest before walking back over to the table with everyone else.

I didn't even glance at Tilly, I picked up my food and began to eat, ignoring everyone else.
