"We've already made assumptions of who the accomplice is. The question now? Who the acting vampire is. It has to be someone of a similiar stature to Changbin, yet stronger," Seungmin began to prophesize as he sat against the bed in Hyunjin's dorm room, his back pressed into the side of the mattress as his legs across atop the floor beneath him.

The human had decided to sneak  in to the vampire dorm building for the hundredth time that week. Two weeks now? It felt like an eternity they were set on strict lockdowm. Not that the lockdown was to any matter of Seungmin seeing as how he continuously disobeyed the rules to stay separated. He claimed to have hopped over each time to discuss their ongoing investigation into Naberius, he said he wanted to dig their heels farther into the ground to unsurface the much needed evidence their seeps missed each time before. He claimed that was the reason. And most likely, that was the only reason he stayed in the vampire dorms so frequently he began to leave spare clothes underneath the unused bed in Hyunjin's room; Solving these murders was all he ever talked about.

The vampire had to admire the human's tenacity. Despite the lack of evidence, knowing that searching for more could land him his own grave and name on the list of victims, the swirling panic outside the four walls of the dorm turning to discord as the authorities kept a constant watch on the student body, he hadn't given up. Seungmin remained determined through it all. Or stubborn. Stubbornly determined. Determinedly stubborn. That described the human well. He was a victim of his own unwillingness to give up, yet he lacked his own clear motivation for why he was so insistent on finding who was behind the serial killings.

Hyunjin observed him from his spot leaning his back against the desk, nearly sitting on top with the angle he rested at. He allowed the table to carry his weight as his world wobbled when he moved his head too fast. That was ignoring the gentle ache in his muscles. And the heightened increase of sage he tuned into as soon as the younger locked them in the dorm room together. And the dryness rasping his throat like sandpaper. The feeling embracing him from when he woke up this morning. He had recognized the feeling as a light hunger, though all he did was bite his lip and silence his tongue when the opportunity to satiate those symptoms presented itself.

It was alright for now. He had gone for longer without eating.

"Maybe, someone taller?" Seungmin guessed with a hum. His hands pressed together at the fingertips, the soft pads shoving violently into the mirror reflection matching their arching pathway. He squished them together as he thought, eyes trained completely on the new fidget as he reasoned to the vampire, "That would give an advantage over Changbin. Especially with the idea of using the necklace to strangle him."

Hyunjin quirked the corner of his lips up as he murmured the joke, "Someone taller isn't a hard profile to fit."

"Someone taller. Someone who knew the chain necklace would be there if they grabbed for his collar. Someone who was off campus at the time of the port dock murder, and someone who is aware of Changbin and Felix knowing who is behind this," Seungmin finalized as he chuckled lightly to the response, the covering veil of a hand obstructing view from the rare amusement dazzling the other's voice. He quickly cleared his throat, a light shake of his head dismissing any hints of enthusiasm he might've visually retained, as he started to lecture the fuzzy eardrums of the vampire again, "The other issue to consider is the blunt trauma on other victims and why Changbin didn't show signs of such, despite this being carried out by the same person. Or, people."

Hyunjin shrugged. His fist bumped into the desk behind him to stabilize him against a particularly vicious wave of vertigo as he theorized in murmurs, "Could've not been planned. Heat of the moment."
