Saturday's sun casted it's glow onto Earth as the ring of an alarm clock disturbed your sleep. Annoyed, you shut it off and stretched, trying to wake your body up a little more. Checking the time, you noticed that it was 10:02 A.M.. You only had about an hour until Thoma picked you up for your date. Panicked, you rushed to your bathroom to get ready for the day.
You took a quick shower, dried your hair, and then picked out a nice outfit. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you thought to yourself, "Shit, does this even look good?" Pausing to stare, you ended up just shrugging and going back to your room. Checking the time, you finished with three minutes to spare. Hearing a knock at your door, you shot up and rushed to get it.
There stood Thoma in a black trench coat, light brown pants with a belt, and a white shirt. A smile crawled onto his face as he handed you a bouquet of red tulips. "Hey, I got these for you."
The feeling of butterflies swarmed your stomach, and your cheeks started to burn like a roaring fire. In return, your lips curved into a smile. "Thank you, Thoma. I'll grab a vase real quick. You're welcome to come inside."
You both stepped inside as you fished around in your cabinets for a vase. Once you found one, you filled up the glass with water and slipped the flowers into it. You set the vase by a window and walked back to where Thoma was. He waited near the door, standing in a bodyguard pose.
"Shall we?" Thoma held out his hand for you to interlock with your own.
Copying his formality, you smiled and grabbed his hand, intertwining your fingers with your own. "We shall."
Small laughs were exchanged as you both began to walk to a small, local café nearby. The spring's breeze blew gently, tangling both of your guys' hair. Pink petals from blossoming trees painted the cracked pavement the two of you walked on. The sky's blue hue was clear due to the lack of clouds. You deemed it the perfect day for a date. As you and Thoma headed to your destination, you both conversed on random topics such as if cereal was classified as a soup or not.
