Venti's delicate fingers plucked away at his lyre's strings as he hummed a carefree melody. The wind danced through the trees, carrying around it's leaves around Mondstadt.

Venti's return to Mondstadt was the buzz of gossip around the region. The bard truly made an imprint on the region, as he was well known for his songs. The rumour of his arrival soon reached your ears, and now here you are. Sitting in the Windrise tree, sharing bottles of dandelion wine with him.

He was currently telling you about his travels to different nations and his opinions on them. "Fontaine is absolutely gorgeous, and their balls are very extravagant to say the least. I prefer the more simple wonders of life, though, so I will never attend their dances again," Venti reminisced, still strumming his lyre. "Fontaine is obviously much different than Mondstadt. I like the simple city we have here."

You smiled at Venti, pouring him another glass of his favourite wine and handing it to him, to which he gladly accepted it. "You seem like you've had a grand time," you chuckled at his goofy grin as he remembered his trip.

"Yeah, I'm glad to be back home though, it's quite comforting to come back and see all the little changes that's happened," Venti took a sip of his wine and leaned back onto the tree's trunk. "Anything happen with you during the month I was away?"
You shook your head no. "No, just the usual." You placed your empty wine glass down and sighed. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous from up in the tree, no wonder Venti loves to spend so much time up here.

"Oh, I forgot to mention, I've been working on a little song for you while I was away. Want me to play it for you?" Venti asked eagerly, a smile painting his features. You nodded as a response, to which he started to hum and strum his lyre.

"So this is love," He hummed as his fingers danced across his instrument delicately. "So this is love~ So this is what makes life divine? I'm all aglow," He hummed again, his eyes shut as he sang.

"And now I know, the key to Celestia is all mine. My heart has wings," Humming once again, he opened his eyes to look at yours, to which he was met with a lovestruck gaze. "So this is the miracle I've been dreaming of," Humming one last time, he continued to the ending of the song. "So this is love~"

He plucked his lyre's strings one last time, a warm smile gracing his face.
"Oh, Venti, that was beautiful! You.. wrote that all for me?" Your face was flustered to say the least. Venti nodded in response to your question, to which you hugged him close, being careful enough to where you didn't fall off the tree's limbs.

Venti chuckled at your reaction, placed his lyre down, and hugged you back. He ran his fingers through your hair as the breeze blew calmly.
