You gently brushed out your (short/medium/long) hair and looked at yourself in the mirror one last time before putting on an extravagant, floor length dress. You were getting fancied up for a spring ball that is thrown once every year when the flowers are in full bloom. Normally you wouldn't attend this event since you did not want to go alone, but your dear friend Kaeya invited you to come along with him as a date.
As a date?
You felt your stomach churn in both nervousness and excitement. You were just a simple baker in your town and he was a regular customer that you have grown close to. Nothing stood out about you, yet he asked you. He asked you out of all of the beautiful people in the kingdom. You found this strange, but you felt lucky that you had a chance. After all, you've grown fond of the blue haired man.
Slipping on a pair of heels that matched your dress, you stood and looked at yourself one last time before Kaeya picked you up. Did you look okay? Has your makeup already smudged? What if he thinks you're too done up? A million thoughts raced your mind before you heard a knock at your door.
You shook the thoughts off before hurrying to the door. There stood Kaeya outside your door; his hair was neatly tied up in a high ponytail and he wore a neat, white frilly button up shirt that left his chest exposed (YK THE ONES). His shirt was neatly tucked into some black dress pants and he had shiny, black dress shoes with a small heel. His hands were also covered up with neat, black gloves with lace.
