Petra was running through the halls of the Scout Regiment Headquarters. She was carrying a stack of paperwork meant for her Squad Captain, Levi. So eager to please her new boss, she may or may not have accidentally piled the papers higher than she could handle.

Which came back to bite her in the ass, because next thing she knows, she slams into a wall.

When the papers flew everywhere and she landed on the floor, she noticed that she didn't run into a wall, she ran into the back of the notorious Royal Watchdog.

Petra has heard many stories about him. How he was only sixteen years old when he started helping the Military Police, how he single handedly took down two titans with one dull blade, and the most famous story about him...how he's a bastard child of a wealthy merchant and a prostitute.

People described him as cold hearted, blood thirsty, horrifying and merciless, but as Petra sat there, papers dancing around her in the hallway, she didn't think about him that way at all.

In fact, he had the prettiest brown eyes she has ever seen in her entire life. The same brown eyes that were staring back at her, full of concern.

Ruvik approached the brunette that fell on the floor, holding out his hand to help her up. "Are you alright?"

Petra was shocked, he was a lot more appealing to look at than she had imagined, which was the exact opposite to what she had pictured him to look like before now.

She was expecting to see an old rugged man with a scar down his face of something, so imagine her surprise when she was met with the face of a young man who appeared to be in his early twenties.

The brunette woman was very confused, the stories and his actual appearance just didn't match.

Realizing that she was staring too long, she quickly took his hand, absolutely embarrassed. "Y-Yes, thank you."

Ruvik pulled her up and Petra began to panic when she realized that all the papers she organized were out of order and all over the floor.

Levi was going to kill her for sure.

Petra quickly crouched down and began to gather up all of the papers into a messy pile, surprised when she noticed Ruvik helping her. Together, the two of them stacked the papers out of order.

Once Petra had all of the papers in her grasp, she mumbled to herself. "Levi is not going to be happy with me..."

Ruvik heard her and chuckled. "Don't worry about Levi. He may be a short fuse, but he's also an understanding guy."

Before Petra could thank the man, someone called out to him from down the hall.
"C'mon, Vik!"

Petra looked over Ruvik's shoulder and her eyes widened, it was Section Commander, Hanji Zoe.

"I wanted to show you the latest results that I came across with my lovely babies!"

"Section Commander, for the love of God, please lower your voice!" Her squad member, Moblit Berner, stressed.

"Okay. I'll be right there." He called out before turning to Petra. "If you're still worried, tell Levi that I was in the way. Trust me, he won't be surprised."

"R-Right. Thank you, sir!"

"No problem." He smiled before joining Hanji and Moblit.

Petra watched them leave with the stack of papers in her hands, surprised when Hanji spared the girl a wave before returning her attention back on Ruvik.

She smiled as she watched them walk off, before realizing that her Captain was still expecting her in his office with his paperwork. "Shit! Shit! Shit!...."

Levi was not going to be happy with her, indeed.
