"Knock, knock." A familiar annoying voice says from the other side of my room door.
I groan before snugging deeper into my covers.
Knock
Knock
Knock
"Come on Angel I know you're in there." Jordan says and Poppy sits up in her bed.
"Should you get the door? If Terry catches a boy in our dorm we will get in trouble." She says and I roll my eyes before throwing my covers off of me.
I turn on the lamp before heading to the door.
I fix my cami so it's straight before I crack the door open.
"What are you doing here Campbell?" I ask, I notice he's wearing a black sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants.
He sighs, running a hand through his dark brown hair.
"Can I come in?" He asks and I snort, "Is this a line Campbell? I feel like I should be flattered but then I would have to think I am special to you."
"How do you know you aren't special to me?" He inquires.
I laugh, " The only thing special to you is your ego."
A door opens and shuts. Luckily it's just another girl and not Terry. She has been waiting to bust someone sneaking in here since they gave her this job.
"Just let me in so we can talk." He says and with a nod I open the door wider for him.
He steps inside and I shut the door.
"Oh hey Poppy." He says waving at my roommate who's holding her covers to her extremely tight.
I roll my eyes, "Campbell isn't going to hurt you." I tell her and she loosens them slightly.
"My name is Lily." She says softly.
"Whoops. Hey can you leave the room for a quick moment?" He asks and her brows furrow, "Whu-why?"
"Just a moment Poppy." I tell her and she looks between us.
Ew, does she think-
"We are not having sex, now go." I tell her and she bolts out of the room.
I shudder even thinking about getting close to Jordan in that sense.
I am so having nightmares about that.
"Wow Taylor, no wonder she likes Sarah."
I glare at him, "What do you want Campbell."
He sighs, taking a seat on my bed and placing his elbows on his knees before interlacing his fingers.
"I'm sorry." He mumbles, it's so soft I almost miss it.
"Huh?" I ask cupping my hand around my ear.
He groans, "Don't make me say it again Angel."
"I never thought sorry was in you vocabulary Campbell." I say taking a step towards him.
He rolls his eyes, "I never say it, so it might as well not be."
"Why are you sorry?" I ask curiously.
"At lunch today, I didn't mean it the way you took it ok? I just meant because she did it when you were fifteen. I was trying to lighten the mood and I miss read it I'm sorry." He says and it sounds genuine.
