Later that night I sneak into the guys dorm.
I had waited until Poppy fell asleep before I left.
She always asks so many questions when I go to see Jordan.
The air has a slight chill to it and I can smell the rain that had poured down after the game.
I slip inside the dormitory using a key I may or may not have stolen.
Just as I round the corner a door opens.
My heart skids to a halt in my chest and I freeze, a guy leaves his room and I let out a breath of relief.
"Quinn?" Casper asks and my short lived relief boils into anger.
"Casper." I deadpan, beginning to walk past him.
He grabs my arm and I send him a glare
"What-" he pulls me into his room and my brows furrow in confusion.
"Casper?" I ask and he lets go of me before sitting down on his bed.
"I want to talk to you." He says and I sit down on his computer chair.
The harsh look I am wearing doesn't leave my face.
"You knew she liked you." I say.
I don't have to elaborate what or who I am talking about. He knows.
"I know." He says not meeting my eyes.
His admission makes my jaw clench.
"So why did you do it?" I ask and he sighs.
Then his face hardens as he looks up at me, "How did you move on so fast?"
"Move on?" I ask clearly confused.
"Della." He grinds out.
That makes me even more confused.
"Are you saying you're acting like a piece of shit because you miss Della?" I conclude.
From the look on his face I hit the nail on the head.
"Cas." I say softly.
"It's stupid I know but I do miss her Quinn."
I take a deep breath before walking over and sitting beside him.
"I miss her too." I say and he looks over at me.
His brown eyes shine with sadness.
"What does Della have to do with Po-Lily." I correct myself.
He shrugs, "Nothing but everything at the same time." He admits, "I went to Della with these things."
"Girl things?" I ask and he nods, "I just feel so lost without her you know?"
"Have you gone to visit her yet?" I ask and he shakes his head.
I sigh, I know that the two of them are close. Closer than Casper and I ever have been.
He and Della always seemed to be on the same wavelength, she joked they were soulmates. Twin flames.
"I think you should go visit her. I can call her mom and have them set a day you can go." I tell him.
"What if she doesn't want to see me?" He seems genuinely worried about it.
I raise an eyebrow, "Why wouldn't she?"
