TW: Attempted suicide

"The original was so much better." Poppy argues, flipping her copper red hair behind her shoulder.

Casper shakes his head, "The second was better, even in the movie they talked about how sequels are better."

Poppy rolls her eyes, "That's because the person who says it is the killer you idiot. He had like two minutes of screen time while Billy had way more."

"Yeah that's what made him the least suspected."

"Don't they both end up dead though?" I ask and both Casper and Poppy scoff at the same time.

"The killer always dies." Poppy tells me.

Casper nods in agreement.

"So who cares which Scream is better?" Jordan asks and Poppy points to herself.

"I do because I am right."

"Nope Lily pad I am right." Casper announces.

Lily pad?

Jordan sighs from beside me.

"You know you two argue about the most pointless things." I say and Casper and Poppy laugh.

"That's rich coming from you." Poppy says and my brows pull together in confusion.

"You and Jordan argue over everything. Remember that time you argued about how to tie shoelaces?" Casper asks.

Oh yeah...

I insisted the bowtie was the proper way while Jordan swore it was the bunny ears.

We spent a good hour or so arguing it. No really we argued about it during lunch and then picked up where we left off during dinner.

"Hey where's Della?" Poppy asks suddenly.

She wasn't here when we sat down but I thought she might be running late or maybe talking to one of her teachers something.

Checking the time I see we are already twenty minutes into our half hour lunch period.

"I'll text her." I say before sending a text asking where she is.

She doesn't respond which is weird for Della because that girl is glued to her phone.

"Here let me text her." Casper says.

He gets no answer either.

I begin to get a sinking feeling in my gut.

Something is wrong.

"You ok?" Jordan asks and I shake my head as I stand up.

Something inside me is screaming to go find her.

"Wait I'll come with you." Jordan says and I didn't even realize I had already began to head towards the doors.

Jordan follows me as I walk towards the girls dormitory.

"You think she's in her room?" he asks beside me.

I nod, "She's probably just lost in one of her paintings." I say.

God let me be right.

We walk inside and up the stairs to our floor.

When I reach her room I pull out my keychain.
