🎃All Treats no Tricks🎃

A/n were kicking it into suburb symbrock cause I can't see them doing trick or treating in a grungy apartment building <3

"Trick or treat!" 3 kids yell when I open my door
"Here ya go. Happy Halloween." I say tossing them some chocolate bars
Why did u give them my chocolate?!
"Because it's Halloween and kids what candy on Halloween. That's kinda the point.
BUT IT WAS MY CHOCOLATE!!!
"One: it's for CHILDREN! And two: candy is gonna be like 80% off tomorrow so I'll just buy more." Eddie says opening the door for more trick or treaters

None of the kids say trick or treat they just look at Eddie in awe. Eddie looks confused at the kids.

"What?" Eddie asks
"Your costume is so cool. It looks so real!" A kid exclaims
"What...OH...yeah thanks made it myself." Eddie says

Eddie closes the door and put the bowl of candy down.

Can we do what they're doing?
"Trick or treating?" Eddie asks
Yeah.
"No Vee, I'm like 34 we can't trick or treat our neighbors would be weirded out and think I'm insane." Eddie sighs
I can be a costume.
"Again I'm 34. Not 7." Eddie says
No. I can be a kid costume. I can look like a little kid and you can act like my dad.
"I can't believe I'm actually doing this...fine. But what are we doing about your voice?"
What are those things that change your voice called?
"Voice modifier?" Eddie answers
YES! That. We can say I'm using one of those.
"Oh God what have I gotten myself into. Let me change really quick and we'll head out." Eddie sighs

Eddie changes out of his sweats into a pair of jeans, and grabs a sweater. He heads into the living room to see a really tiny version of venom.

"Ok Vee, let's head out. Now remember your costume was made by your mom, I'm your uncle. Got it?" Eddie asks
Yes sir.
"Good"

Eddie grabs Venoms now small hand and they head out. He hands venom a pillow case.

What's this for?
"Your Candy. Also your name is Carter cause no one names their child Venom." Eddie says

As they reach the first house the lady handing out candy gives Eddie and Venom a weird look but gives them candy anyway. Seems like people might actually buy their decoys. Hey head house to house getting candy to Venoms pleasure. Untill they reach Anne and Dans house. Shit.

"Happy Hallowe-Oh. Um hey...Eddie
Trick or Treat!
"Venom there's not point in faking being a kid right now. BUT DONT GO BIG. There's still kids around." Eddie sighs
"So...this is how your spending Halloween? With Venom as your child?" Anne asks
"To be frank it was his idea. Since he can't be five seconds without candy." Eddie explains
Are we gonna get candy?
"Yeah. Here you go." Anne says
"You really didn't have to give him any." Eddie says
"No honestly it's cute, and plus there's parents around and I don't want them thinking I don't pass out candy to certain kids." Anne says
"Oh. Well anyway we should probably hit up other houses. Happy Halloween Anne." Eddie says walking back to the side walk

They hit a couple more houses. At the next house a kid runs up to Venom saying how cool his costume is.

Thank you tiny human!
"Carter what have we said about saying tiny human to people your age." Eddie groans
That we should just say their names?
"Yes."
Well I like your costume too.
"Thank you other tiny human!" The kid exclaimed running up the driveway to get candy

His parents walk up to Eddie and start talking to him. Much to Venoms dismay. He wanted to get more candy. Even if his bag was getting full.

"Kids and their funny way of talking am I right." The mother said
"Haha yeah...definitely." Eddie sighs
Uncle Eddie can we get more candy pleeeaaaassseeeee?
"Yeah bud in a second." Eddie sayed
"It looks like you nephew wants some more candy. Well it was nice meeting you..." The father starts
"Eddie. My name's Eddie. And it was nice meeting you guys too. Happy Halloween." Eddie sayed

Eddie was getting tired and Venom was getting tired from being this size for so long. They decided to hit a couple more houses and call it quits for the night. Once they got home they dumped their stash on the table and sorted it into Venom and Eddie piles. Venom hot all the chocolate, and Eddie got all the gummy/hard candy. Eddie handed out the last of the candy he had in his bowl and turned off his house lights. Venom went back to his normal form and rested himself on Eddie shoulder as he lounged on the couch drifting off to sleep.
