Tonight was the dance that I have been waiting to get over. I need this dance to go by faster so I could have you in my arms jo.

I know some might say "why didn't you just cancel things with maya and go with Josie?"

Well it's not that simple.
See I have this whole thing where I have to make sure the plan goes well if it doesn't then I could mess up everything with Josie before we even go on our first date.

"Hey hope! You ready to go?" Maya asked me
"Well you look amazing maya" I say

I wasn't lying she did look absolutely gorgeous. If I wasn't obsessed with Josie, I would sure as hell be obsessed with her.

"Thank you hope, you look amazing as well" she says
" so are you ready for the best night of your life?" I say
"That sounds a bit sexual... mikaelson" she says
"Oh. I didn't mean it like that-" I was saying
"I'm just joking mikaelson" she says before sending me a soft smile

"So we should get going before Lizzie throws her bitchy attitude because I didn't show up in time to help her with a few things" I say
"Ok let's go" she says

When we arrived, we were one of the first few people there.

I know obviously people wouldn't be there early but damn this is sad.

"You showed mikaelson" Lizzie says before giving me a hug

Why is your sister acting like this? Does she know about us? Josie, did you tell her about what I said to you the night I got into a fight with finch?

"Of course I did" I said before we broke apart from our hug

Maya clears her throat.

"Oh yes, maya this is lizzie, Lizzie this is ma-" I say
"Machado, we've met" Lizzie says before rolling her eyes
"We'll Hope if you need me I'll be getting some punch" maya says before walking away

"So, you and maya?" She asked

So you didn't tell her about us? Is this a good thing or not?"

"It's nothing like that, she asked me to homecoming or whatever the fuck this is and I said yes" I say

"So you guys aren't dating?" she asked
"What? No!" I say

"Good" she says with a smile
"And why is that good?" I asked her

"Well you and Josie can still have a chance and with maya in the way it will never happen" she says

"I don't want Josie to hate me, so go ask her about us and maybe everything will make sense" I say

"Mhmm, speaking of Josie I haven't seen her, have you?" She asked

I haven't seen Josie since last night when we had our first movie night and chill.

"Not since last night" I said
"Wait never mind, she's right there" Lizzie says pointing in her direction
