Homecoming: Our little plans

Hope POV

"Josie?" I said
"Yeah hope?" She says

" I promise you don't look like a sociopath, in all fairness I look more like a sociopath then you ever could" I say

"Hope, baby you don't look like a sociopath, you look normal" she says

"Jo, you do realize I was the one who killed finch right?" I asked

"Actually I killed finch" Josie says

"Jo, I was the one who insisted on this and I'm the reason we are even in this mess, and pause let's go back a few steps did you call me 'baby'?" I asked

I was totally fine with Josie calling me baby. I love her. I just want to know if I heard correctly, or was I imagining it?

"Yeah.... I'm sorry" she says

"For what?" I asked

"For calling you baby, I know we aren't official and we have bigger problems to worry about but calling you baby really just slipped out" Josie says

"It's ok love, you can call me whatever you want. But in the meantime we have to get finch body out of here. Homecoming is going to end soon and Lizzie is going to be looking for me which is going to cause more suspicion when we both don't have a plan to cover this whole thing up" Josie says

"You know too much about this. We definitely need to talk about your past" I say

"We don't have anytime, so you clean up them blood I'll get finches body to the car and in 5 minutes meet me there so we can bury finches body, after that we can get back here in time for you to still be mayas date" she says

"What? Are you crazy? We just killed someone and your thinking about going to homecoming dance?" I asked

"Well first off, maya is going to be sad if she finds out you were with me when you asked her to homecoming" she says

"Actually she asked me but whatever" I say

"Anyways, if you get back there in time you can make sure mayas happy and when people realize that finch is missing or when they realize the truth. That she is dead. We will have a alibi" Josie says

"You are too good at, remind me to never puss you off. I don't want to be found 2 years later after already being dead in the woods" I joked

"We can't keep talking about this. It's too risky and we don't want nobody to hear us and get caught making us targeted" she says

"Ok, meet you in 5" I said before running off

After I cleaned up all the blood, I ran to the car but Maya stopped me.

"Hey hope, where have you been?" She asked
"I needed to talk to Josie, her and her sister got into a fight but I promise to be back in 5 minutes" I said
"Ok" she says before going back into the party

I hate lying to her but shit has to get done.
