When I get to work the next day, I don't see Cynthia sitting next to Jin. I furrowed my brows.
Huh. Maybe she's late.
I shrug and just as I'm about to sit in my seat, Junmyeon comes over to me.
I immediately bow and smile at him. "Good morning, sir."
He smiles back. "Good morning, Navya. I just wanted to say you're doing such an amazing job at work."
"Thank you so much, I'll keep doing my best to make our company growing!" I grinned.
"That's good to hear." He chuckled. "And, I also wanted to tell you that I changed your seat."
My eyebrows raise. "Oh, where?"
He turns and gestures to Cynthia's seat, next to Jin. "Over there, next to Jin."
"Okay, but why the sudden change?" I asked.
"Jimin told me what Cynthia had done to you all, so I thought I should change her seat." He explained. "I hope you enjoy your new seating."
I smiled. "I will, thank you."
I bow once again and head to my seat, putting my stuff down and opening my laptop. Jin sees me and he smiles.
"Wah, Navya!" He exclaimed, making me giggle.
"Hi, Jin." I grinned and take a seat. "So, I'm guessing we're seat buddies now."
"Yes, and thank god Junmyeon decided to change." He frowned. "Cynthia really wasn't..."
"I know and I wish I could've done something about it, but I couldn't." I frowned as well.
"Hey, don't be sorry. It's not your fault." He smiled a little. "I'm just so relieved that you're my seat partner. I hope it stays like this."
"Me too." I chuckled. "Don't want Cynthia annoying you again."
We both smiled and lock eyes. That's when we hear someone clearing their throat. I turn around and see Cynthia, a frown on her face and her hands on her face.
"Excuse me, you're in my seat."
"Actually, this is my seat now. Your seat is on the other side." I said casually.
"No, it isn't!" Her eyebrows furrowed. "You can't just change seats like that!"
"Navya can't, but I can." A voice said and Cynthia froze, turning around.
"I was the one who changed Navya's seat." Junmyeon raised an eyebrow. "Jimin told me what you did and that is completely unacceptable. What you did was very wrong."
Cynthia puts her head down in shame, all of us smiling at the scene. Junmyeon continued.
"That's why I changed seats cause I know Navya will treat Jin nicely." He frowned. "I hope you learned your lesson and never do this again."
"Yes, sir." Cynthia replied and Junmyeon smiled.
"Good, now, please go to your new seat." Cynthia nodded and rushed to her seat, her head still down.
I look at the guys and they all smile at me, Taehyung clapping lightly. We start on our work and get a lot done, as usual. My work was pretty easy, to be honest. I did get stuck here and there, but I managed to figure it out. By the end of the morning, I was on the last page.
I breezed through it but then got stumped on the last question.
What is tally accounting?
What the fuck?
I furrowed my brows together and try to think, but I can't remember. I sighed and frowned, sitting there and stumped on the last question. Then, my eyebrows raised. I turn and look at Jin, who was busy typing on his laptop.
