Bonus Chapter #1

"Navya, you finished packing yet?"

"Just a sec, Jin, I'm almost done! I just have to zip up my suitcase!"

"Well, hurry up, we gotta go!"

"Okay, okay, hold your horses, Mr. Impatient! I'm coming!" I huffed as I zipped up my suitcase and carried it downstairs, out the front door, and into the back of the car.

"It's about time you got down here." Jin said and I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you rushing me to hurry up? We're only going to Anyang."

For the past week, Jin has been begging to take me to Anyang, his hometown. He said he won't stop begging me until I say yes, so I said yes.

And, here we were, ready to go.

"Yeah, I know, but I don't want to be late for our hotel reservation." He replied as he put the rest of our luggage in the trunk.

"It's only a 24-minute drive from here! We won't be late!" I slammed the trunk door closed and crossed my arms together.

"I guess you're right. But, anyways, let's hit the road since we're all set." Jin smiled and I nodded, the both of us going to the front and entering the car.

"Bye, lovebirds, I hope you have fun!" Lisa sing songed from the front door.

"Thanks, and I'll make sure to tell everything once we get back! Bye!" I said back and the both of us waved bye to our friends before heading down the road.

There wasn't much traffic on the way to the hotel, so we got there pretty quickly. Once we arrived, we grabbed our luggage and headed inside. The hotel was pretty fancy looking and it was really big and beautiful. We got our room key and headed up on the elevator to our room.

"Ooh, this looks cozy." Jin said as we both entered the room, setting our luggage down.

"Yeah, I can't wait to sleep on that big bed tonight. But, for now, let's unpack and settle in." I replied and the both of us got to work.

"Man, I'm beat." Jin sighed as he fell face down onto the bed.

"The only thing we did was go out to get some snacks and drinks. You're tired just from that?" I asked.

"Yes, and I think the sun made me a little tan." He sat up and touched his face with a pout, making me laugh.

"Don't worry, you still look handsome with a tan." I smiled and kissed him on the lips.

Suddenly, his phone started ringing. Jin took it out of his pocket and looked at the caller ID.

"It's my mom. I wonder what she wants. Hello?" He out the phone to his ear and walked over to the other side of the room.

"Hi, Mom. Yeah, I'm in Anyang. Oh, tomorrow? I don't know about tomorrow, but I guess we could. Alright, fine, we'll both come over tomorrow evening for dinner. Bye, love you, too." He ended the call and I looked at him.

"What did she want?"

"She and my dad want us to come over tomorrow for dinner...and they both want to meet you."

My eyes widened. "They want to meet me?"

"Mhm, and now that I think about it...they've never met you before."
