"What's taking them so long? I'm starving." JImin whined.
"You have to be patient, Jimin. They'll be here soon." Hoseok said.
"Why don't you do something to pass the time?" Namjoon asked.
"No, I don't have enough energy to. I need food now." He whined again and suddenly, the sounds of keys jangling were heard.
"We're back!" Rose sing-songed, holding bags in her hands.
"Finally, food!" Jimin grinned and grabbed the bags, setting them on the countertop. The other girls and I did the same.
Everyone grabbed their food and we all gathered together on the couch.
"You guys won't believe who we saw when we were picking up the food." Lisa's eyes were wide and the guys looked at her. "We saw Cynthia."
"No way! Really?" Taehyung asked.
"Yep. I'm guessing she ordered from there, too." Jisoo shrugged. "And, thank God, she didn't see us."
"If she did see us, she probably would've said something like, 'Oh my God, what are you guys doing here? Are you following me? If you are, please stay at least 2 feet away from me, my face will get wrinkles.'" I mocked and everyone laughed.
"That sounds like something she would definitely say." Jungkook laughed.
"What can I say? I've known her for a long time." I shrugged with a grin.
"Speaking about her, you never told us how you too became enemies." Jennie said and I pursed my lips together.
"Oh yeah, I've never done that, did I? Well, do you guys want to hear the story now?" I asked and everyone nodded. "Okay, well, it all started back in fifth grade. I had just finished the worksheet our teacher assigned to do..."
Flashback
I opened my folder and took my finished worksheet out, checking one last time to see if I'd done everything correct.
"Hey, Navya, did you do the worksheet?" I turned and saw Cynthia next to me.
"Yeah, I did. Did you?"
"Nah, I didn't feel like it. But, can I check yours since you're done?" She asked and I knitted my brows.
"Um, why?"
"To see if you did it correctly."
"But, you're not the teacher."
"I know, but I just want to see. Pretty please?" She smiled and I shook my head.
"No, that's the teacher's job, not yours." I replied and she frowned.
"Alright, fine, your loss. Hey, what's that over there?" She pointed somewhere and the second I turned, she snatched the worksheet from my hands with a smirk.
"Hey, give that back!" I got up from my chair and tried to grab the paper, but Cynthia held it from my reach.
Tears formed in my eyes as I tried to reach for the paper, so I bit my lip to stop myself from crying.
"Oh my God, are you gonna cry? You are such a loser." Cynthia scoffed and I clenched my jaw.
"I said give it back!" I exclaimed and lunged for the paper, but I accidentally pushed her back, making her fall backwards and land on the floor with a thud.
"I'm so sorry, are you okay?" I reached out to help, but she swatted my hand away.
"Don't touch me and here's your worksheet back. I don't want it anymore." She handed me the paper and I took it from her.
"What's going on here?" Our teacher, Mrs. O'Connell, came over to us after hearing the commotion.
"Navya pushed me off of the desk." Cynthia replied and my eyes widened.
"No, I didn't, it was an accident! I didn't mean to! I was only trying to get back my worksheet from her." I replied and Mrs. O'Connell raised a brow.
"Why was she having your worksheet?" She asked and I told her what happened.
"I see. Well, one thing you're right about, Navya, is that it is the teacher's job to check students' papers. On the other hand, Cynthia..." She narrowed her eyes on her. "It's wrong to steal other students' papers and call them a loser."
"Oh, and, she didn't do the worksheet you assigned." I added quietly and Cynthia glared at me.
"Wow, I'm so disappointed in you, Cynthia. Stealing other students' papers, calling them a loser, AND not doing the worksheet? I'm sorry, but you're getting a zero in the gradebook." Mrs. O'Connell crossed her arms together and Cynthia's eyes widened.
"What? But-"
"No buts and that is final." She turned to me. "I will give you the full credit since you did complete it."
"Yay, thank you!" I grinned, giving her the paper and she smiled, walking away.
"We're sworn enemies now, so stay away from me." She glared at me and walked away, leaving me standing there.
Me - 1, Cynthia - 0.
End of flashback
"Because of all that, you guys became enemies?" Jin asked.
"Yep, and now that I think about it, it's kinda stupid." I replied. "I mean, she got a zero only for that assignment."
"Maybe she has forgotten about it." Rose said.
"For someone who's bitchy and bratty, I doubt it. But, there is a possibility." Namjoon shrugged.
"You know, I think I would've burst out laughing seeing her fall over the desk." Yoongi grinned and the others did the same.
"If you did, you would be in big trouble." I smiled.
"Well, at least, I got a good laugh." He shrugged and I rolled my eyes.
"Anyways, who wants dessert?" Jisoo got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen, grabbing containers of ice cream from the bags.
"Me!" Taehyung rushed towards her, but he accidentally tripped and fell to the floor with a thud. All of us gasped and burst out laughing.
"Are you okay, Tae?" Lisa asked, still laughing.
"No, I'm not! I'm on the dirty, disgusting floor and my clothes are ruined!" He whined and everyone looked at him.
"What was that?" Jimin asked with a chuckle.
"That, my friend, was an imitation of Cynthia." I grinned and everyone laughed again.
A/N: This was actually based on something that actually happened to me, but I added some stuff because I don't remember some of the things that happened since it was a long time ago T_T
And, my teacher's name was Mrs. O'Connell :))
