This vacation... will be the fucking death of me! I swear!

"Usog ka ng kaunti, Zerline. Nakasiksik ka sa akin," halakhak ni Condrad habang nasa byahe kami.

I shot him a warning look. Imbes na matakot, mas humalakhak lang siya at umusog kaya wala akong nagawa kundi umusog din palapit... sa isa ko pang katabi! I gritted my teeth and tried to act normal even when my insides are churning!

I don't know what to feel about this trip! I really wanna enjoy this vacation, especially coz it's fun seeing my cousin with her ex, but then it's also hard being this close to him again...

Nasa byahe na kami ngayon papunta sa private island ng mga Aguado. Mabilis lang nilang plinano ang lahat at ngayon, nasa iisang van na kami at katabi ko si Condrad at Benj dito sa likod!

Masayang kasama ang mga kaibigan namin pero sa tuwing maiisip ko na ang lapit-lapit naming dalawa... hindi ko maiwasang hindi kabahan.

Idagdag pa na nananadya itong si Condrad! I know what he's doing! Akala ko pa naman takas ako sa pang-aasar nila dahil busy si Dervin pagselosin si Rio, pumalit naman ang isang 'to!

"Nakausog na!" mahina ngunit mariin kong sabi dahil natutulog ang iba.

"A little bit more, please... Ang sama na ng tingin sa akin ni Ben," he whispered.

I rolled my eyes for the nth time, but still moved anyway. I made sure there's still space between me and Benj. I can feel his cold stares.

Diretso akong umupo at hindi na nagsalita. I figured that the more I talk, the more he'll tease us. I just want a peaceful trip.

But then...

"So, it's been years. Got a boyfriend or something?" Condrad suddenly asked me.

Napalingon ako sakaniya at masamang tumingin. Nakangisi siya at palipat lipat ang tingin sa akin at kay Benj na nasa tabi ko. Sarap kurutin nang pinong pino nito!

"No." I answered in the hopes that he'll stop.

But he didn't!

"I know, though." He chuckled.

"Alam mo pala, bakit ka pa nagtatanong?"

"Double checking. I'm helping a friend."

Mas lumaki ang ngisi niya samantalang napairap naman ako. Nakita ko pang may sinenyas siya sa katabi ko!

"Had a boyfriend, then?" he asked again.

"No. How about you? Do you have a girlfriend?" I smirked.

Nawala ang ngisi niya bigla. There there... Back to you, huh?

I know he's still not over Asherah. Speaking of her, I heard she's doing great in the fashion industry. I've seen some of her works.

At siguro mahirap talaga siyang kalimutan. Condrad can't move on from her... and I saw how Benjamin struggled to get over her.

Or did he really got over her? Umamin ba siya sakaniya at napatunayan niyang wala na talaga?

I know he already admitted his feelings towards me, and is now chasing me... but I can't seem to let go of my doubt for his love.

It's hard to trust after everything that had happened in my life.

"I'm single," sagot ni Condrad.

"Had a girlfriend, then?" panggagaya ko sa tanong niya kanina.

Umiling siya. There's a ghost of smile on my lips but before I could stretch it fully, someone interrupted me.

"Why are you asking him?" his cold baritone echoed in my ears.
