I thought I'll never find someone to love again, and honestly I was slowly accepting it...
We're staying at the hotel now as a celebration of our graduation. I yawned. Damn, I'm still sleepy.
But how could I sleep again when my friends are already noisy early in the morning? Pati kung anong ilulutong breakfast, pinag-aawayan pa nila. I groaned and reached for the throw pillow.
Man, no use! I can still hear them!
Groaning a little louder, I stood up and decided to go back to our room.
Someone's phone is ringing for a call.
I yawned again, but went near the coffee table anyway.
It was Hashline's phone that's ringing. I saw the screen.
Z calling...
Pinsan niya? I sometimes hear Hash talk about her. Never saw her, though.
Inaantok kong inabot 'yong phone. I then called Hashline who's busy arguing with Dervin.
"Hash, someone's calling you." I said and showed her the phone.
Nakasimangot pa nang nilingon niya ako. "Sino, Kuya?"
"Someone named Z,"
"Oh. Can you answer the phone for me? Pakisabi nagluluto ako. I'll just call her later," she didn't even wait for my response and proceeded arguing with Dervin. "Scrambled egg na lang kasi!"
"Sunny side up!"
"Bakit ka ba epal? Ikaw ba magluluto?"
"Ikaw. Kaya nga may shell pa, oh!" Dervin teased her.
"Whatever!"
Natawa ako ng bahagya. Rio looked stressed while watching them at the side. I know him. He prefers sunny side up eggs as well, but he can't say it coz Hashline wants scrambled ones. Damn, whipped!
I shrugged my shoulders off and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hash?" her voice echoed in my ear.
I clicked my neck on the other side. "This is her friend. Hashline's busy cooking." I said.
"Oh..." she sounded disappointed.
"She said she'll call you later." I informed her.
I massaged my nape while waiting for her response.
"Ah, sige. I'll drop the call now," aniya.
Tss. Binaba agad?
A little disappointed because of the call when someone caught my attention. Of course, Hashline won. I saw her cooking scrambled eggs. On the other hand, I smiled when I heard her voice, and saw what she's doing.
Asherah's cooking as well. She came home to surprise Condrad on our graduation day.
