To take Khandava from barren lands to the glorious Indraprasth was a long time job, deciding that the utmost important and at present required work was done, Arjun decided that he would now go to meet his family.

Walking through the illusions of Maya mahal, Arjun was getting excited at the mere thought of meeting his mother, father and brother or sister.

"Mahamantri Kritvarma, Senapati Satyaki, pranam," Arjun saw the twins walking in the corridor and greeted them.

Unlike many other royals he didn't fell low or ashamed of greetings someone first. He believed in equality, and definitely the rules of friendship.

"Maharaj," The two bowed, much to the dismay of Arjun who wasn't used to the Kingly stuff.

"You look excited..." Satyaki started.

"...... Are you thinking about the Empress of your heart?" Kritvarma added back with a sly smile on his face.

Arjun didn't glare or deny, he nodded his head, "yes, the Queen who resides in my heart,"

The twins shared a look, was Arjun unaware of what they were speaking or was married or didn't feel the need to hide his affair?

"My mother," Arjun clarified immediately, if someone understood the two in less time, it was the King of Indraprasth.

"Oh, the Queen Mother, Rajmata," The twins casually spoke together, again.

Arjun nodded, "I am going to meet her, and you both will have to manage everything here for the time I am gone,"

"We will,"

"Parth, Mahamantri Kritvarma, Senapati Satyaki, pranam, is there some meeting going on? Should I leave?" Krishna walked in with a letter in his hand.

"No," Came three shouts from the brave warriors who looked nervous.

"But I already made no mind, I'm leaving now," Acting like a kid who was angry with his mother, Krishna turned and sat down on the couch nearby.

Arjun mouthed 'Kid' to the twins who giggled softly and left at Arjun's command.

"Madhav, don't leave me," Unlike what was supposed to be a joke, Arjun had tears in his eyes and heaviness in his voice.

Krishna turned and saw Arjun on his knees, keeping his hands on Arjun's shoulder, he sat down next to him, "Parth, even when I die I won't leave you, a part of you lives in me and a part of myself in you."

Arjun blinked like a kid, "Madhav, I am glad," The tears in his eyes long gone.

Understanding everything was well, Krishna pulled in a hug. "Wait, what is this fragrance coming from?"

"Oh, that must be the fragrance of that water," Arjun pointed at a small pot with lotus floating in it.

"You have become mischievous Parth," Krishna complained understanding Arjun's trick.

Arjun had taken the few drops of water and acted well good.
And Krishna, even knowing everything fell for it.
That was the YashodaNandan, the innocent one.

"Well, I may have someone to teach me," Arjun smirked, playing Krishna's cards against him.

Krishna laughed, perhaps his effect on Arjun wasn't bad. "So you are not leaving right?" Arjun asked, again, for clarification.

"Well, as a matter of fact, I have too."

Just as the flower offered to Gods remained fresh and fragrant only till they were near the God, and would wilt the second they were separated from the Ishwar, Arjun's face fell down at those words.
