चन्दनं शीतलं लोके ,चन्दनादपि चन्द्रमाः |
चन्द्रचन्दनयोर्मध्ये शीतला साधुसंगतिः ||

Meaning, sandalwood is considered cool in the world, but the moon is cooler than sandalwood. The company of good friends is more cooling than both moon and sandalwood.

Yudhisthir was worried, he had thought of an idea but wasn't sure if it would work. He was scared, of what would have had happened if Arjun's anger was unleashed to the world?

But most importantly, will Arjun be fine?

Yudhishthir's eyes constantly went to Arjun feet, they for some reason calmed him.

They were soft like lotus and had auspicious markings. And Yudhishthir did not miss the divinity.

As he was waiting for his younger brothers to return, he noticed the look of longing in Kunti's eyed as she looked at Arjun, her sweaty restless hands, moist eyes.

"Mata," He approached her, Kunti replied, "Yes Putra."

"Do you know Maharaj Arjun?" He asked. "Who doesn't know him?" Instead of answering, Kunti questioned back in response.

Yudhishthir sat beside her his eyes still at Arjun, "I don't know why but I have this feeling in my heart that I have deeper connection with him than I know." He said, not noticing the look on Kunti's face.

He continued, "and I feel that even you have a connection with him."

Kunti stared at Pandavagraja with wide eyes, she clutched the hem of her saree tightly.

But Yudhishthir did not see that and shrugged it, "never mind mata, I must be imagining things." And walked towards Arjun, leaving behind a shocked Kunti.

She was scared, what if the truth came out?

PanduPutras would hate her forever, or maybe even leave her.
But also, how disappointed Arjun would be, when he had specifically asked her to keep this a secret.

And what if everyone called Arjun a mistake or sin?

For Kunti, Arjun was her son, her first child,
Her love, her unrequited love maybe.

She knew she was wrong to abandon him, but she had to even if she did not wanted to do.
She considered him as a blessing, but would the society agree upon the same?

She looked at Yudhishthir and Arjun, and her heart broke in another million pieces. But even though she wished that her sons would embrace each other, she knew silence now would benefit everyone.

Yudhisthir felt a pang of hurt, for some reason he had a feeling that Kunti was hiding something; But he also knew that if it were important to be shared now, she would.

The four Pandavas returned back, and the PanduSutas started making paste of Sandalwood.

By nightfall, the five brothers had made the paste, and Yudhisthir added scented soothing mint simply because they were available, available a little far.

"How will we pour this paste Jyesth? It is thick. We have to thin it." Nakul said, handing his twin a pot of mint water.

"No. Keep some paste as thick and some as thin." The eldest son of Pandu spoke.

Yudhisthir took the paste in his hands and kneeled down near Arjun's feet, ignoring his family's gasp and applied the paste on Arjun's feet.

The destructive energies occupy more space at the head and least at the feet;
Thus people wear gold on the head to keep in balance their destructive and aggressive energies and silver on the feet to keep in check the calmer ones.
