Indraprasth was magnificent, Karn had never such beauty in his life. But more than remarkable architecture, he admired the happiness and peace in people.

He had a warm welcome by the staff of the palace, something he did not expect. As he was walking with Ashwatthama, a beautiful teen girl ran towards them, "Help me," She was shouting.

Karn immediately took out his dagger and stood in front of her, "Do not worry, I shall protect you,"

She nodded, "A man is coming following me, he is trying to murder me, save me," She pleaded blinking her eyes.

Karn was surprised, who dared to harm a girl in Arjun's reign, "I will save you," she smiled brightly, "Thank you."

Meanwhile Ashwatthama was being a spectator of the events, controlled his laughter, and waited for the man who tried to harm this girl.

As Ashwatthama expected, Arjun walked in the corridor, dressed in simple white dhoti, with a plate in his hands, "Vrinda," He called out with fake anger, "Come here,"

The young girl immediately nodded in no, "I am under his protection," she pointed at Karn.

Karn looked speechless, "You are his sister," he asked and she nodded, "He is trying to feed me Bhindi," she bit her lips and made a disgusting face.

Karn literally face-palmed, he did not expect to find himself in between a siblings war. Ashwatthama looked at Arjun, "She is right. Bhindi is absolutely disgusting, how dare you try to feed her that outrageous food?" Ashwatthama was horrified.

Arjun sighed, he would never win against his best friend and sister. "You guys are so dramatic," He declared and passed the plate to a nearby maid.

Vrinda skipped of happily, after all she didn't need to eat Bhindi. "Bye," She said to the three of them and ran.

Arjun looked at Karn straight in his eyes, "Yes?" He asked him.

Karn felt silent, feeling a sudden loss of words. He couldn't form a single sentence to apologise. He looked up to Arjun and worriedly shook his head, "I'm accompanying Guruputr," And walked in another direction.

Ashwatthama giggled, as he saw Karn leaving, "He is just a boy," He explained their conversation to Arjun, but Arjun was sceptical.

'Perhaps he could be the one. He would apologise and make us trust him, and then harm Uloopi.' Arjun thought, with the words of Ashwasen, his nightmares and how Karn insulted Uloopi in their first meet, everything supported Arjun's suspicions.

"I doubt so," Arjun said, not giving out everything. He hadn't told Ashwatthama about his dreams, not wanting his friend to worry.

Just like how Drupad's image had been fixed for Ashwatthama, Dron too wasn't all good in Arjun's eyes as well.
And Karn was the student of Dron, making him even less trustworthy.

Of course, he wouldn't say it loud to Drauni, but his mind wandered around that fact.

Nevertheless, he had asked Ashwatthama to show Karn a room and let him stay for a while.
