YOUR FIRST LOVE IS YOUR FUTURE
How do you overcome the uncertainties of loving someone so deeply?
Is your first love the person you're meant to spend forever with-or the heartbreak you'll carry into your future?
For Rainier and Alexine, love begins...
"He's still quiet and rude. Right? Haha." Kristee smiled.
"Naku, baka maglayas ka na naman bigla, bro, after this reunion."
"Hindi na." Rainier finally opened his mouth.
"Alright, let's take a group photo. Then let's go to New York."
NEW YORK
"HELLO, NEW YORK!!!"
They all got out of the plane at the airport, laughing and talking like no time had passed between them.
Kristee looked at them one by one before smiling.
"Since all of you guys are still good-looking, I would love to have you in my fashion show."
"Seryoso ka ba diyan, Kristee?"
"Do I sound like I'm joking? Come on. We all know that back then, you were all gorgeous and popular."
Everyone laughed.
But Rainier only smiled faintly.
Being surrounded by old friends somehow made him feel lonelier.
He remembered everything.
The places they used to go to. The people they had once been. The dreams they had when life still seemed simple.
And, most of all, he remembered Alexine.
After all these years, he still could not get her off his mind.
He was still madly in love with her.
She was still beautiful. Her body had changed after motherhood, but there was something even more captivating about her now. She looked natural, graceful, and simple in a way that felt more beautiful than anything he had encountered during his travels.
He had met countless women. He had traveled across countries, worked with famous people, photographed fashion shows, built a successful career, and created a life that many people could only dream of.
Yet none of it erased her.
He tried his best to forget her and move on.
But some people were not meant to be forgotten.

They had dinner at a fancy restaurant in Times Square, New York.
The restaurant was elegant and luxurious, filled with warm lights and the quiet hum of conversations around them. They discussed everything—from careers and marriage to families, old friendships, and the stories they had accumulated over more than a decade.
