YOUR FIRST LOVE IS YOUR FUTURE
How do you overcome the uncertainties of loving someone so deeply?
Is your first love the person you're meant to spend forever with-or the heartbreak you'll carry into your future?
For Rainier and Alexine, love begins...
Before the truth-or-dare game started, Kristee opened up an interesting topic.
"Hey guys, kumusta naman ang mga love life ninyo?"
"Come on, Kristee. Don't be so weird."
"Excuse me, Jun. My question is not weird."
She asked on purpose.
She wanted to hear Rainier's answer.
Ever since they arrived in Cadberry, she had been trying to figure him out. He was different from the boys she usually dated. He wasn't loud, wasn't trying to impress anyone, and rarely smiled.
But somehow, that made her want his attention even more.
Floyd picked up the empty bottle of tequila and placed it in front of them as they sat together around the bonfire.
"Why don't we start the questioning already? We'll just have to spin the bottle, shall we?"
"Fine. I agree. But please don't be harsh on me. Remember, I'm a girl."
The boys looked at one another.
"Could you act like a girl, Kris?" Jun teased. "You've got more balls than Rainier."
"Haha. Ever since I came here, I'm being bullied."
Kristee crossed her arms, pretending to be offended.
Those simple, reassuring words coming from Rainier somehow felt different.
"Seriously, Rain?" she asked softly. "You're tolerating this?"
"But I don't trust you guys," Kristee said, deliberately moving closer to him. "I only trust Rainier."
She touched his arm.
Rainier looked down at her hand for a second.
He didn't move away.
But he didn't encourage it either.
"What, Kristee?" Jun said with a teasing edge in his voice. "Parang nagseselos na yata ako kay Rainier."
"Weh?" Kristee raised an eyebrow. "I did not know that, Jun."
"Oh, stop that, you guys. Love quarrel again?"
Marco grabbed the bottle.
"I'm going to spin this now. Ready?"
Everyone leaned closer.
"By the way," Marco added, "whoever gets pointed by the bottle will have to take a shot of Bacardi."
"That's unfair," Kristee complained.
"That's the game."
Kristee was already feeling tipsy.
The warmth of the alcohol had reached her cheeks, and the bonfire seemed brighter than before.
She suddenly smiled to herself.
She had an idea.
She was eager to know Rainier's love status.
Rainier was discreet, but his innocence about romance made him easy to read. Unlike Kristee, who had already experienced enough dating drama to recognize when someone was hiding feelings.
I want to know who you're crazy for.
