Recap:

"You don't have the strength or technical skills you need to win. But if you're prepared to go all out, day in, day out... if your determination to do that is the strongest in Japan, you might even make it to Hanazono."

"I want to go to Hanazono!" Gion cheered out of nowhere when the others didn't reply the temporary coach, suddenly having energy running through him as if he wasn't dead tired a minute ago.

"Some of you still have energy. Let's keep running for another hour." Komori suddenly suggested and the boys immediately went to scolding Gion.

"Gion you idiot."

"Keep your mouth shut!"

On with Chapter 14:

3RD PERSON POV

It was another day of the training camp and everyone was already awake and more or less ready for the day to begin.

The managers did their manager duties, the boys were already at the field warming up, and Komori was entering the school campus a few minutes early. "Good morning." The temporary coach greeted the managers just like he did the previous day.

Arriving at the field on time, he gathered the players around and briefed them on their plan for the day.

They were doing the usual running and passing the ball when Gion failed to catch the ball. Ebumi didn't hesitate to bring Gion into somewhat of a standing arm lock. " "Rugby's a blast", huh?! Say that after you've learned to actually catch the ball, you piece of trash!" he shouted before storming off. "I don't have time to teach trash!"

"What's this, Ebucchi? You're already abandoning your protege?"

"Don't worry, Gion. I'll teach you."

"Dammit..." Gion cursed, "I'll get him back when we start tackling!" the first year didn't seemed at all fazed by the blond and kept up an optimistic thinking.

...

Taking the first break for lunch, Komori asked the managers to look for some training bibs that they should have in the store he needed for the training in the afternoon. Not before briefing them about it.

"Okay, let's break for lunch. Meet on the field at 2.30." was all he said before walking off, "We'll run a gewalt this afternoon."

Hearing the sounds of confusion from the team, he stopped in his tracks and turned slightly to face them. "Oh, right. You kids don't call it that. It's an intrasquad game." he explained before continuing to walk off to who knows where for his own lunch break.

"Do you wanna look for the bibs first or eat?" (Y/n) asked her junior. "Hm.." she hummed in response. "We should probably eat first. Who knows how much food they'll leave after they're done. We might not even get any left." she dreaded at the possibility of getting nothing for lunch.

(Y/n) chuckled at the answer and agreed with going to eat their lunch first. "Good point, let's go."

...

"Come on, get in line." Lunch had just ended not long ago and Komori had given them enough time to rest before starting the next session. "We'll play 12-on-12."

He then split the team into 2 groups, Team A consisting of the starter players and Team B consisting the reserve players, and also the team who had to wear the bibs to differentiate each other. A couple of the players had to watch from the sidelines to make the teams equal, so each team had all the positions covered except for 2 forwards and 1 back.
