He paused for a couple of seconds before giving a small smile. "I have a feeling the team has gained a new member."
(Y/n) walked forward towards the boys and stopped in front of a certain first year before ruffling his hair.
"Congratulations on joining the team, Gion!"
On with Chapter 15:
3RD PERSON POV
Golden week had ended and the students were back in school. Clearly they were not excited to come back and study a new chapter in Mathematics.
"(Y/n! Did you get a tan during golden week or something?" (F/n) took an empty chair and sat beside their friend. "What did you even do for the week? Go to the beach?"
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow before looking down at her arm. Upon closer inspection, she noticed that skin was a darker shade. "Oh, right." she said as she pulled up her sleeve to reveal the skin that wasn't exposed to the sun as much as the other. "The rugby team had a training camp during golden week, and the coach took away my umbrella so I had to stay under the sun the entire time." she explained before bringing her sleeve back down.
"You're still in the rugby club?" (F/n) was surprised. "Is being the manager really that interesting? I mean, you guys barely go to any matches..." they said before realizing something. "Wait, you guys have a coach? Since when?" they remembered you mentioning how the boys had to learn everything from their seniors or by themselves.
"I actually don't mind staying by their side. I've been with Taku and Hachi since the first year, and seeing how passionate they are for the sport, I can't help but to join them, y'know?" the (h/c-ette) said as a small smile appeared on her face.
While waiting for the class to begin, she began telling her friend about her experiences during the training camp. Some good, some bad, some sad, some weird. She just told anything that seemed interesting that came to mind.

After school ended, (Y/n) made her way to the clubroom with the key in hand. It was her turn to unlock the room and she had met Umeno on the way.
"Ah! Komori-san! Good afternoon!" (Y/n) and Umeno greeted their coach who was already waiting in front of the locked clubroom. He had come early as usual. "Good morning." he greeted back.
When the clubroom was finally unlocked, (Y/n) allowed him and Umeno to enter first before entering the room herself. The managers placed their bags in the corner and saw that their coach had moved the whiteboard to the back of the room, where it will face the door.
" "We're playing against Todo-Dai Sagami in a practice game. Prepare yourselves." " Umeno read it out loud at the same time Komori was writing it. "We're playing against Sagami??" the 2nd year was shocked. "Isn't that the school that got second in the tournament?" (Y/n) pointed out. "Wow, coach. How did you get a school like that to play with us?"
"I personally know the coach." was all he said before exiting the clubroom. "Hurry up, the others are going to arrive soon."
He then came back a few seconds later, sticking his head in. "Ah, I forgot to mention."
"I invited your advisor to come and watch the game."
...
A couple of days later, it was the day of the practice match.
