Recap:

"If you can complete the training drill I'm about to give you, I'll reward you with five chances a day to tackle me." Sekizan said.

" "training drill"? " Gion questioned. "The turtle."

(Y/n) raised an eyebrow at the instructions while Hachioji understood Sekizan's intentions. "Oh, I see."

"Mutsumi, show him." Sekizan said before walking away. "Oi, let's start practice."

He noticed that (Y/n) didn't move from her spot and continued staring at what Gion was about to do, so he hooked his fingers on her back collar and pulled her back to their side of the field.

"Ack! Taku, what the heck?!"

On with Chapter 3:

3RD PERSON POV

(Y/n) was looking at Gion focusing on doing the turtle. "Hm, he's really determined." she commented. Hachioji then turned towards Sekizan. "Sekizan, how long should we keep him doing it?" he asked.

"Until practice is over." Sekizan answered. Hachioji was reluctant about the idea, but he agreed anyway. "Gotcha."

Sekizan then turns to Iwashimizu and Oharano. "You two, come over here." Iwaishimizu got scared of the captain, but Oharano calmly answered him, "Ah, yes, sir."

The captain then began to teach the players and supervise them. Hachioji was still teaching the new players on the basics of rugby. (Y/n), as usual, was by the captain's side and was multitasking holding her umbrella while taking down some notes on her clipboard which includes some of her thoughts on how each player can improve and the captain's words if possible.

She'd rather tell the players themselves right then and there, but she'd rather have Sekizan take the wheel since he understands it better through actually playing it, and would share her thoughts after the training.

"Okay, that's enough." Sekizan said to the team when practice has ended. He then turned towards Hachioji who was motivating and encouraging the new members. "Oi, Mutsumi. Finish up over there."

"That was way more fun than I expected." "Yeah, although I couldn't catch the ball." "Me neither." the first years said as they walked back to the clubroom.

While everyone was walking back to the club room, Hachioji, Sekizan, (Y/n), and Umeno were trailing behind them. While the managers were looking through their notes with each other, Hachioji noticed that Gion was pushing through to continue doing the turtle. "Sekizan." he turned to the vice-captain. "What about him?" Sekizan looked to where Hachioji was pointing and saw Gion, covered in sweat and his hands and legs covered in dirt. He was shocked. "He's been doing that the entire time." This also caught the attention of the other members.

"For three hours straight?" Ise asked as he too was shocked by Gion's determination.

"Hah." Sekizan let out a small laugh before walking towards the first year. "Oi. You've still got four tackles left for today."

Gion suddenly became energetic and stood up from the turtle position. "I'll take 'em!" he exclaimed before flopping to the ground since his legs were weak from moving for hours with no rest. "I'll take 'em tomorrow."
