She closed her eyes, with her hands behind her head, her fingers intertwined. Every once in a while, she would skip a song that she didn't care for, and every so often she would change into a different laying position, thinking about the miscellaneous things that came appeared into her mind. She looked up into her celling until she finally dozed off into a not so deep sleep.
But something wasn't right.
Her eyes shot open and she suddenly jumped awake breathing heavily and holding her chest. Her room was dark. Not dark as in, no light but the moonlight shining in, but dark as in trapped in some timeless darkness that simply drowns in light.
She could see nothing, not even herself.
She lifted her hand and a glowing ember of purple light started shining, but then almost immediately died.
She tried it again, but that time her hand didn't even start a glow. It was odd.
Then she started to hear something hear something from the corner of her room. Or, wherever she was. It sounded like breathing, or someone trying to breathe. Something made a noise, as if it feel. A clink, a clack, something along those lines.
As any would, she started to panic, looking for her phone that wouldn't light up, as she heard that sound getting closer, the breathing getting louder.
She shuffled around her bed until she hit the floor with a loud bang. At that point she started to scream at an excruciatingly high volume to try and get this being to stop, or to get someone else to help her. But, no one came.
In fact, when she opened her mouth to start projecting, nothing came out. She tried again and nothing came out. All she was resulted of was a sore throat.
Adrenaline was running through her veins and she started breaking a cold sweat throughout her whole body. Her head started to spin, she gained a splitting headache that spread to her whole body.
This time when she screamed, it was in agony and sufferment.
She tried and tried to scream but nothing came out as she head the breathing running right down her neck brushing against her hair. Head still spinning, feeling as if she is about to pass out she tries to let out one more scream before she started choking. Something is wrapped around her neck. Clawing at the feeling she starts feeling lightheaded when the breathing said-
She jolted awake, her whole body sweating.
It was just a dream.
The sunshine gleamed through her window greeting her hello. Still in shock, she laid back down dosing back to sleep, seeing as if it was early morning.
