"Why would Raiden do that thing?" I asked "Stella! Tell the guard to---"
His highness tapped my shoulder, "I'll take care of this. That stupid mage should know what will be the consequences of his actions."
He walked away and went outside. I don't know but I'm shaking.
He's far but I can sense something familiar in him
"Lady Eloise, you're pale." Stella uttered
I was so shocked that I can't even uttered a another word. I can't believe someone like Raiden would do this.
I heard a scream from the outside so I hurried and went there, I took my weapon with me just in case. All of the imperial guard and the duke's guard are all injured. His highness and Theodore are trying to defeat him but they failed
Raiden is blankly looking at them while he's covered in blood
He looked at me then he suddenly began his next attacked. I was so confused because he's movement are too fast for me to see
I closed my eyes and saw his highness with a shield from one of the soldiers. He's covering for me
"What are you doing here?!" He yelled
"I wanted to help!"
I took my arrow and bow and tried to shoot Raiden but he dodge it
I tried to do shot another arrow at him and it went through his right shoulder
He didn't say a word, I also didn't saw any emotions from him after I shoot him.
He tried to attack me again but Theodore grabbed him in the back. He wrap his arm to Raiden's neck
"The arrow, my lady! It's turning black!"
I looked at it and he's right, it is turning black
I went towards them
"What are you doing?" His highness asked
I ignored him and grabbed the arrow from him and suddenly Raiden screamed and there's a light coming out from his wound
It's too bright, and minutes later his scream is gone.
I slowly opened my eyes and Raiden is nowhere to be found
