There's a hot spring in the center. We all decided to go there so we can relax even for a short period.
Stella and I were sitting as we enjoy the hot spring. It's hot and relaxing at the same time.
"This is great," I uttered
"Yeah, it is, m'lady." She replied
"I wonder what they're doing in the ducal's state today." I added, "I worry that Zian will be in danger. If she died because we didn't save her on time, then all of this would be useless, and I'll hate myself for it."
"M'lady, we're all here. You don't have to carry that much burden on your shoulder."
I smile at her, but the emotions I feel won't go away
We're supposed to relax and yet here I am, being pressured because ever since we left the empire, we haven't done anything.
"I have something to tell you, m'lady." Stella broke the silence
"Hmm? What is it?"
"I feel something odd about him."

Raiden's POV
The smell of burnt waste and the sound of people chattering is all over the place
I'm in the countryside of the Northern Empire. I heard that the lady I meet days ago stayed here
I want to speak to her. As far as I remember her name's Sam.
I am drinking tea while reading a newspaper inside the café, hoping she'll pass by and bump into me.
This countryside is also part of Leonitus's subjects, however, it seems like these people are independent
This empire hasn't been colonized so they're celebrating independence day under the king.
I wonder how's Lady Eloise. I've been away for many weeks now and I never visited her again after that day
"Ah! That was exhausting! Carrying those stuff makes me hungry. I want big thighs from a giant bird!"
I came back to reality when I heard that familiar voice. No doubt, it's her
"Sam, we already ate like a few minutes ago." A girl replied
"That was just a sandwich,"
"I can't believe your stomach is boundless after you devoured all those sandwiches."
"Whatever, can I order a big thigh?" Sam asks the owner of the café
"W-We don't sell that here..." The owner responded
"Eh? You don't? Why?"
"This is a café, we sell sweets and beverages."
"In that case, can I have lots and lots of sweets please?"
"Sure, what kind of sweets?"
"Any kind. Give me all the finest sweets that you have!"
"Right away, ma'am." The owner left
"Sam, we don't have any money to buy such expensive deserts!"
"Relax, we can just teleport after eating."
"I can't believe you. I'll be back, order me some beverage, will ya?"
"Will do," Sam replied as the girl she was with went outside
This is my chance, I sat next to her and thought what I should say.
"Here's the sweets, would you like some beverages?" The owner asks
"Yeah, two please," Sam responded as she started to savor the deserts
"Sure thing." the owner uttered
"Good to see you again." I started the conversation
She glanced at me and didn't say a word
"Do you perhaps remember me..?" I ask
"Yeah," she said
Well, that was a relief. I smiled at her as she continues to eat her food
"So uhm, thank you for helping me escape."
"Sure." She simply replied
Help... she's too busy eating
I didn't speak furthermore, she drink the beverage she just received and looks at me
"Did you hear about the ducal's state?" She asks
"No, why?"
"Well, rumors said that the ducal's state is in chaos right now."
"What?"
"Yeah, well, it's just a rumor but I assumed I saw Gomez Ophelia's daughter along with the prince and her other accomplices heading to Eastern Empire."
"What happened to ducal's state?" I started to panic
"No idea. But if you wanna know, Keana and I can come along with you. We're heading there anyway, and if something worse occurs, I'm willing to lend you a hand."
I didn't hear what she said as I have begun to worry about Lady Eloise's situation.
She left the ducal's state under who?
"I'm heading to Eastern Empire," I grabbed some cash in my pocket and gave it to her, "Here, to pay for that stuff."
"Okay, thanks but... I guess I'll just use telepathy to tell you further information,"
I nod and left without saying another word.
I have to give this information to her.
But, would she believe me?
