"Then step aside! She's my prey!"

"She's no one's prey, sir Carlos. You're about to hit her and that's very unacceptable especially when you're inside the imperial palace, we don't hit women here."
His highness, Severus, approach us, "What's going on here?"
"You highness." Theodore bowed down. Severus looked at me and I bowed down
"Y-Your h-highness, t-this woman! She's about to hit me out of nowhere but I'm really glad, Mr Theodore Renaud here saved me." He lied
Severus ignored him, "Theodore, tell me what happened."
"Yes, your highness." Theodore told Severus what happened and the nobleman is about to escape from the situation but a lot of knights suddenly showed up and point their weapons to Carlos
"I see," Severus turn around and glared at Carlos, his face look furious that Carlos went on his knees and begged for forgiveness
Everyone started to murmur and suddenly an old man yelled, "Your highness, wait!"
He bowed down, "I'm very sorry about my son's behavior, please spare his life and take mine instead." The old man said
"Your son is being unreasonable to hit a woman,"
Most noble in this novel are acting uneducated just because they're living in luxury.
"I'm really sorry, your highness, I know he's an idiot, we'll leave the empire if that what it take just to forgive his action."
"I'll spare his life but it doesn't mean I'll forgive him, the emperor shall know what happened today." Severus said and walked away
The old man is about to cry, I feel sorry for him, having a son like that doesn't deserve to inherit his family's wealth and title.
"Are you okay, lady Eloise?" Theodore asked
"Yes, I am fine, thank you, sir Theodore."
"I'm glad I got in time." He smiled and pat my head and walked away to follow his highness.
