4. Authority Figure

The three of them were going to wait until Axel came back down before they went over the rules of the game but he seemed to have just forgotten to come back down.

"She's probably telling him some old fogy tales. My Nana does that. Loves the youngest cousins because they sit and listen."

The two siblings thought for a moment, maybe Morgan was right.

"I wouldn't put it past her," Nelson shrugged, "right Amy, if I tell you the rules, when Axel joins you have to explain them to him yeah? 'Cuz I can't be bothered"

After explaining the rules and playing one round, Axel still wasn't back and they were all starting to feel uneasy. This was a house that they didn't know almost at all and the only adult had taken herself to bed, without telling them to lock up or to turn the lights off or even where they were going to be sleeping for the night.

"We should go check what's going on." Nelson stated as the figure of authority.




The three of them go to the staircase, it's eerily lit and there's some kind of distant sound coming from the upstairs hallway...

They should:

A. Investigate the noise (go to page 5)

B. Call the parents for advice (go to page 6)

C. Turn on all the lights (go to page 7)
