Amy was just a kid, she was scared, if their mum found out what happened she would not let them live it down.
"Wait here, I'll grab Amy." Nelson told Morgan.
"That was pretty messed up," Morgan groaned, "I'd rather not be in your shoes right now."
As Nelson was about to head down the stairs, he stopped and turned to Morgan. 'not be in your shoes right now' what did they mean by that? Maybe it wasn't worth asking, it would probably just lead to an argument.
"Just... Ugh, whatever," Nelson retorted.
He began to make his way down the stairs in the direction that Amy had headed. Although he didn't see her open the door, by the time he got to it, she was outside. She wasn't running away now, she had crouched down in the front garden, probably trying to calm herself down.
