David Vaughan's POV

["Dude!! Nasan ka?!! Nasan si Dalawang Buhay??!!!!"]

I shiftlessly glanced at the long hallway in front of me. I walked out of the elevator.

"I'm not in the mood. Bakit mo sa akin hinahanap???"

Obviously, I don't even wanna meet with Scarlett today. I don't even wanna see her, thinking that she might ask too many questions about my history with Rose.

Scarlett can be too nosy. She's too curious about things, even the useless ones. And I'm sure di niya papalagpasin ang nalaman niya.

Sigurado din ako, Rose already told everyone about me.

I know her like the back of my hand, she wouldn't miss even the small details and it's certain na sa kwento niya, ako na naman ang masama.

I remember how she can be such a crybaby. I'm pretty sure, with all the years that came, fresh pa sa isipan niya ang nangyari nuong college kami.

I know it. Cause I felt it when she slapped me without any hesitation. Even though that's our first meeting while sober! That freaking psycho did!

["Yo bro, di ngayon ang tamang oras na magdamot. Papatay daw siya. Gusto kong manood kaya pinapahanap ko na kay Zac. I just need you—"]

"Stop being so childish, Angelo. Kung gusto mo lang siyang makita, pumunta ka dito sa condo."

I'm not being myself these days. I couldn't bring myself to meet some women. I can't even focus on work.

I know something's bothering me.

I thought I should put my game up with the ladies. So I force myself out of my office. But then Scarlett texted me and reminded me that I need to finish her stupid lessons. 

["Dave, wala siya dyan. Jas checked it. Di mo pa ba napapansin?? Sarado ang tracker niya, ibigsabihin nasira niya—"]

I don't have time for this. Instead of listening to him blabbering, I checked Scarlett's location and that leads me to see that even my location is not detected on my phone.

"I think it's broken. Kahit ako di ma-recognized."

I was already at the front door of Scarlett's condo pero dahil sa kaylangan nila and because this has never happened before, I need to check kung anong mali.

I took exactly five steps away from the door, ready to leave. When suddenly, my location popped out in my screen.

"That's strange. I think there's an error."

["Are you sure?? Di kaya pinakeelaman ni Dalawang..."]

Lumingon ako sa pinto. Muli akong bumalik para kumatok. Again, nawala ang location ko.

["Buhay?? She knows her way too...."]

Nagpabalik-balik ako. Everytime I got closer to the door, nawawala. But when I walked away, nagkakaroon.

I almost laugh by myself.

"Angelo, pumunta ka dito sa condo. I discovered something cool, baka gusto mong makita??"

["No can do, I'm looking for her. I got kicked out from the company kaya kaylangan ko ng ticket para makapasok. I need to discuss the marriage registration."]

"Then do that."

I turned it off and put my phone on my pocket. I use the cardkey to enter but it declined. I tried it again and again. I even put the passcode pero di talaga nagbubukas.
