I continue to smile, forcefully. From the wings of this heavy door, I watch all the board members settle in their comfortable space. Each is trying to find a chair where they can greet one another. There have been small chats from here and there.

Everyone seems to be happy that this day has come.

Mrs. Lourde Maclntosh even feels anxious knowing that once she has Ms. Pound's share, everything that the Maclntosh built may fall into the hands of the enemy.

The attorney, Mr. Snyder didn't show up. He sends another attorney with Mrs. Maclntosh, this newbie looks so nervous surrounded by known and famous tycoons and businessmen.
