.   .   .

You stood in front of the studio 60 building with your hand tightly clutched to your bag. You were nervous that was for sure. You weren't new to all of this, being in a few hometown plays and things like that but you weren't an actual celebrity like these people were. That's why it surprised you when you got a call back after your audition.

"How can i help you?" the man standing at the front doors asked, pulling you out of your thoughts. "It's my first day here, they didn't tell me where to exactly go" he cleared his throat "name?"

"Y/n Y/l/n" you said with a small smile. He pulled out a list from his pocket, taking a second to read it before open the door for you. You walked right in looking extremely disoriented, it was a big place and you had no clue where to go. Clearly the doorman didn't get the memo when you said that they didn't tell you where to go because he was no help either.

You began walking down the hall, hoping you would find someone who could actually help you and lead you to Matt's office because the lobby was surprisingly empty.

The more you walked down halls, the more lost you got. If you weren't so nervous, you probably could've found your way by now but somehow you found yourself in a long empty hallway that didn't even have any windows and all the noise that couldn't be heard was suddenly gone. You were sure you were in the basement by now so you began to pick up your pace because it really made you feel like you were in a horror movie down here.

Of course to your luck, walking fast only made it hard for you to stop immediately when needed so when a woman walked out of a door beside you that you didn't even see to begin with, you crashed right into her.

"Shit! I'm so sorry, oh my god are you okay?" you reached your hand down to the blonde and she immediately grabbed it. You pulled her light body up and you almost fell down when you were met with her face for the first time.

Harriet Hayes, Harriet fucking Hayes you just trampled. "It's okay, i'm fine. It was an accident...i hope" she held a small smirk on her face. She was even more beautiful seeing her up close, in person, rather than just on your tv screen. You knew you would eventually meet Harriet working on the same show as her, you just didn't think it would be like this and you didn't expect her to literally take your breath away.

"Yes of course. It's my just first day and i'm lost..." you blabbered, trailing off. "Hey, it's okay, i'll help you find your way" you stared into Harriet's warm brown eyes, you were frozen and only then did you realize she never let go of your hand.

"Oh and i didn't catch your name" she said as she began walking with you trailing behind her. "Right. It's y/n, y/n y/l/n" she looked over at you with a smile on her face.

"Y/n" she repeated "what a beautiful name" she let out a giggle making your heart flutter; you felt like you had a butterfly flying around in your chest. It was going to extremely hard getting your job done with Harriet around.
                                         ____
"Beware; Asshole ahead" The blonde mumbled as she opened the doors to Matt's office. You definitely wanted to know what that was all about.

"Matt, i heard you were expecting y/n" you stood beside Harriet. Your heart started racing extremely fast and suddenly your throat was dry. "Thank you for being my little helper Harriet" Matt said sarcastically and you could feel the anger radiating off of the woman standing beside you. "Well nice of you to tell her where to go on her first day" she hissed and the tension in the room grew in the few moments of silence that took place.

"You can go now Harriet, thank you" he dismissed her before it got out of hand. Apart of you was upset that you were having to part with her even though you've only been with her for hardly ten minutes. "Good luck" she whispered to you before leaving, leaving so fast that you couldn't even react.

"Wait actually stay Harriet" she groaned at the man's words and you just stood there like a statue, not know what was actually going on. "You're going to share a room with y/n."

"What?" You and Harriet practically said in unison, both with different tones.

"The dressing rooms are all full, i didn't think it through"

"Like you ever think anything through" she snapped and rolled her eyes, her arms crossed up to her chest. "Well" he began, standing up and walking towards you both "i think that's settled. Harriet, why don't you show y/n to her dressing room, help her get settled?" She stared at him with a looked of anger, almost looking like a child who didn't get the toy they wanted. Then she finally gave in, walking out of the room. You hesitantly followed behind her, getting one last look of Matt who had a smile on his face like nothing had happened.

"Sorry" The actress said, stopping abruptly "I didn't mean to act like that, he just gets me so angry" you looked down at her hands, noticing they were clenched in a tight fist "it's okay, i get it" you placed your hand on her shoulder, not knowing where this confidence came from when a moment ago, you couldn't even talk to the woman.

At first she was tense under your touch but not even a moment later, melted into it. "You don't have to apologize to me" you both shared a smile before you were brought back to reality, realized where you were and who you were with. "Well i better get situated, i have to head to my car to get my stuff" you removed your hand, taking a breath. "Right. Why don't i help you?"

"Are you sure?"

She placed her hand on the lower of your back. You were sure that your face was now extremely red and your eyes were bugged out of your head. "Of course!"

This job was going to be an adventure, you knew it.
