"Lucky us. Last room" Alice said, approaching you with a full smile. It was extremely lucky of you both. All the hotels were booked and sleeping in the car didn't sound too ideal.

"Gosh. I didn't expect it to be this packed. I mean I knew it was big but...wow" you followed only an inch behind the older woman. You figured that she knew where she was going.

You both finally arrived at the room. It was a long walk; top floor at the end of the long hallway.

You stood beside Alice as she began to open the door. Your feet were killing from having to wait in that long line for a room. It was dark out by now although you didn't know what time it was, exactly. You both would've got there sooner but you just couldn't bring yourself to get on a plane. You hated flying ever since you were a child.

Walking into the room, you payed no mind to what it looked liked like you usually did. You were so tired that your only concern was to get rest and get off your feet. But as you approached the beds, it occurred to you that there was only one.

It must be a simple mistake.

"Um either i'm just tired or we're missing a bed?" you said. Now Alice stood beside you and you could hear her soft breaths. She looked at the singular bed and then you could feel her eyes on you. You could see out of the comer of your eye that her head was faced towards you. But you didn't dare to look back at her because you would be lying if you said that you wouldn't just have to grab her pretty face and kiss her.

Because Alice of course, would be disgusted with you if you did that. Your group was literally fighting against things like that. And you even feel disgusted with yourself that you would think thoughts of kissing her and daydream about her telling you that she loves you. You couldn't say that your heart didn't stop when she kisses your cheek or forehead as a friendly gesture or how you freeze when she wraps her arms around your body and hugs you.

"Well...they didn't inform me of this. I can go down and see if they have anything else?" Alice suggested.

"No, they already said that they didn't have anymore open rooms. Besides, it'll be tomorrow by the time you get to the front of the line. I'll just sleep on the floor, it's not a big deal."

You finally turned to her. You're pulse quickened at her deep gaze on you. Her eye brows furrowed and for a moment, you thought that she was going to yell at you. "No way. I won't let you sleep on the floor. There's enough room for both of us on the bed."

It was a queen sized bed. But, you had to admit that having Alice's body lay so close to you, no makeup, and just her nightgown on made you extremely nervous. And you moved a lot in your sleep and couldn't embarrass yourself by waking up to your body laid all over her.

"Are you sure? I mean I could-" she shushed you with a finger on your lips. Your eyes crossed to look at her finger. Having absolutely anything of her on your lips made your heart race up and you swear that she can hear the beating.

She giggled at you and you felt a million fireworks explode in your heart. "I don't want you to sleep on the floor or anywhere other than a bed. Besides...you can keep me warm." Her smile never faded but a blush did appear on her cheeks as she mumbled the last bit.
