The warmth of the sun, begins to rest on my face, as Steve begins to open the blinds. I moan, as I lift the comforter over my face. I feel Steve begin to gently tug at the comforter.

"Hey, Y/N, let's try again today. Ok? Let's just try." Steve calmly states, as he continues to tug at the comforter.

"No, Steve. Please just leave me alone." I beg, as I try to hide the tears forming in my eyes. Steve gently rests his hand on my back and begins to rub my back tenderly, as he sits next to my curled body. "I'm here for you, Y/N. I'm not going anywhere, but we have to at least try to find your new normal. Loki would not want you to lay in here and not live. You live for you both now. Please know that I am not trying to push you, I just want to help you," Steve states affectionally, as he continues to rub your back.

"Please just leave me, Steve, please." I whimper. As I curl further into my comforter, in the distance, I hear my door opening.

"How is she doing, she still sleeping?" I hear Nolena gently whisper, trying not to bother me. "I'm awake," I state irritated, as I sigh, I feel Steve continue to rub my back and turn to Nolena. "She isn't wanting to get up." Steve replies to Nolena, trying to stay strong, in my presence.

"Just leave, I don't want to get up. I just want to be left alone, please. I'm begging you." I beg, as tears continue to fall down my cheeks, as I continue to rub my tears on my comforter.

"Let's just leave her, she's not ready, Steve." Nolena states, as she makes her way to your side. You feel her sit on the bed opposite of Steve.

"I can't let her be alone, Nolena. This isn't going to help her, to just let her lie here. I have to do something, we have to save her." Steve states, as his voice breaks.

"Maybe you can heal her! You and Y/N can heal, maybe that will help!" Steve asks desperately, as he stands from the bed and makes his way to Nolena.

Nolena sighs, "I can't Steve. We can't heal a broken heart. She will have to heal her heart on her own, in her own time." Nolena sighs sadly, "Oh, how I wish I could help with this pain." Nolena states, as you can tell she starts to become emotional.

"Please, leave me alone!" I scream, as I hear a storm begin to build outside of my room. I push the comforter off of me and look at Steve and Nolena, as I have not showered in days and my hair is a mess. The tears continue to fall down my cheeks, as I sit up, leaning my back against the head board.

"No, Y/N, we are not going to leave you." Steve states, as he intensely looks you in the eyes, showing he is not backing down.

"Talk to me, talk to us, we are here to help," Steve states, as he continues eye contact with you. He is standing next to Nolena, in a confident stance. Nolena is looking to the ground, trying to hold her composure. I know it is hard for her to see me like this.

"Well, why didn't you guys save him? How am I supposed to trust you both when you let him die!" I yell, which causes loud thunder to echo outside. "I just don't understand! How am I supposed to just move on from him? He was my soul! He wasn't supposed to die! He can't leave me!" I yell, as the tears continue to fall, while I begin to lie down, trying to pull the comforter over me, to hide myself again.

"No, you are not going to do this. No, we are not going to lose you too!" Steve yells, as he runs to you and pulls the comforter off you. "Please, Steve, I just I can't. I don't have anything left. I just, I can't," I cry in agony, as Steve grabs me into his arms.

As Steve holds me, I cry into his chest and hold on to him, letting myself go. As Steve holds me, he begins to rub my back affectionally again. "We are here for you, Y/N, you are safe." Steve whispers to me.
