So I am presenting a freshly new track in front of you : The Dark Shadows. Till now you would have realised what exactly it revolves around. Obviously, one of the darkest side of colonial government, the torture houses.
As we all know the basic history, colonial government used to impose taxes on poor peasants, handloom workers, the craftsmen and many more working classes. Moreover, they used to follow harsh policies to suppress Indians. Those people who used to fail in paying such high taxes in return of low revenues, they were forcibly dragged in the torture houses. The wives and daughters of peasants too were dragged and were badly beaten and many often ended up loosing their sanctity by the hands of these officials. Even most of the revolutionaries were gagged at this place and were beaten upto the death. They used to collect the blood of the slaves, given electric shocks, brutally beaten up and what not. The conditions were so intense that even I could not mention most of the things freely. Whenever I have read those articles, all I could get were goosebumps.
I thought to add this topic in my book, although I cannot depict each and every thing so intensely and in minute detail.
