The words rolled out from him and I could almost feel myself being frozen like a statue in the spot. This time, I couldn't help but gulp as they continued playing.

I could only stare at them in astonishment as I only covered my mouth with my hands.

I was the guest?

I didn't really expect them to trick me into thinking that we had an event exclusive only for another person.

When they had finally got into the chorus, I decided to join in and sing along with them. The drums, the piano, and the vocals had clashed at that moment and most of the students were already oblivious to what's happening.

Jihun smiled as well as Naehyun when they saw me joining the stage and grabbing the mic that was next to them. But I made sure that my voice was much fainter than theirs since I was still scared of the council saying we're causing too much noise — which would entirely mean detention.

After the first song, they decided to take a bit of a pause to let me talk. I stood speechless, looking at all of them with a huff followed. "I didn't think you guys would surprise me like this. Does the council know?"

"I'm the vice so the president knows. In fact, he lets me use this gym for our little gift for you," Heejun replied with a smile, before clapping his hands.

"Though, tricking you was the hard part. We know how you get suspicious every time—" I then cut him off by making a squinted face at the comment.

I was confused by what he actually meant by that. So, the only way I could know for sure was to ask him. He saw how I looked offended already and laughed, slapping his hands on the piano and even waving his hand.

"Should I take that as a compliment or a bad thing?" He then laughed and even the others had followed. Heejun then waved his hand to tell me that it wasn't meant to have a bad meaning to me.

"No, not really. I guess the right term is too smart and always catches people on the act. That kind of thing," he explained before he then sighed. "So, we had to devise a plan and Jihun here had been the one who thought of making you think it was for your vocal training."

Jihun only avoided his gaze when I turned to him. There was a tint of shyness evident on his face and I then thanked him, making sure he had heard my voice. He then nodded as a simple answer and faced the four once again.

"So, telling me that I had to practice was the most effective way?" They all gave a grin and I only clicked my tongue and gave them a sigh and a thumbs up.

"Well, words failed on me. It definitely did strike me out of the blue. I really thought that there would be another student to surprise." Gunyeo and Naehyun high-fived each other and the seniors exchanged glances but with a hint of a victorious glint in them.

"And actually, this surprise wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for Jihun. He was the one who saw the letter and thought of the band thing," Yoonwoo opened up and my eyes widened at what he said. Jihun tried to escape from the scene by walking slowly towards backstage but I immediately grabbed on his long sleeves to stop him from doing so.

"He actually thought that having to perform one last song with you will be memorable. Maybe that would be added to your journal," Gunyeo said as I turned back to him.

"You read my journal?" He shook his head and told me that he only assumed that it was the purpose. So, I let the topic be and drove my attention back to Jihun, who only stood there in silence.

Smiling, I let go of his sleeve. "Thank you, really. I didn't expect this and one of the things I wanted to cross out in the bucket list was playing with or in a band. I really thought that I couldn't do at least one of them while I'm here."

"Thanks for making that happen." He then soften his gaze and turned his attention back to me. He only gave me a slight smile and ruffled my hair even though my hair was already in a bun. I gave him a pout and immediately bowed to the five of them.

When we had finally decided to call it a day right before the bell rang, I helped them to clean the gym and put the instruments back in the music room. On the way there, I felt Naehyun's hands poking me in the back. My eyes turned to him and he then asked me about the flight and when I'll be going back home.

Even though they hadn't really said anything, I felt the others listening in front of us. Opening the door to the music room, I let the others go in before answering Naehyun when we were the only ones outside, telling him that I only had three days.

A nod came from him and Jihun was the one who went outside first. But I could already tell that there was something going on his mind. Tapping his shoulder, I only gave him a cheeky smile.

"Hey, don't miss me too much, will you? You've already done enough. That surprise earlier made me extremely happy." He only smirked and flicked my forehead as soon as I teased him. Putting my hand to cover my forehead, he only crossed his arms and scolded me.

"Still a brat, aren't you, shorty?" he commented before a 'tsk' sound came from him before he continued. "Right, before you leave, I want to cook you one last meal before you go."

"Wait, really?" I asked in surprise. "You can cook?"

"What? You only think that Heejun cooks?"

"I still remember you calling my food salty," I complained as he just sighed.

"Look, I'm sorry for what happened that day. As an apology, would you let me cook a meal for you then? To make up all those things I did." I thought about what he said at the moment.

"Even you flicking my forehead?"

"Don't push it. I do that 'cause you're a troublemaker."

"Alright. One meal. Promise me that you'll be true to your word!" I told him and held out my pinky finger. He took a bit of time gazing at my small finger so I had to hit his shoulder playfully. I then heard him chuckle before doing the same.

"Fine, I promise."
