Note before reading: If the scenes feel rushed, that means that the book still needs to be revised after completion. As I said, feedbacks are highly appreciated if there are mistakes or anything that you want to let the author know. Lovelots! 💕

As soon as I reached the room, Gunyeo and Naehyun weren't there. All of the seats had been aligned and empty. It was something new for me, considering that there should be at least two to five students but all of them seem to be missing.
That's weird, they should be here by now. It was only eight in the morning too.
Fixing the strap of my bag, I decided to turn back around only to bump into someone who was much taller than me. The papers went flying and fell down on the ground. I couldn't help but scratch my head before kneeling down, taking the papers, and muttered an apology.
"It's alright, Eysee." That voice made me look up and saw Heejun picking up the papers himself, his eyes directed on the ones he was holding. As soon as we got all of the papers back, we stood up and met each other's gaze.
"Um..." I started off before trailing off. Shoot, how can I say this?
It was quite nice that he actually waited for me to finish my sentence as I sighed, not knowing how to start it off. Here I was, asking one of the officials of the school if there was an event that I hadn't known.
"Do you know where Gunyeo and Naehyun are? It's quite embarrassing that I'll be the only one in my room and there aren't many students here. Is there something going on?" He just smiled at me before shaking his head.
"Ah, that? Some students are on the field, watching the soccer match. Some are decorating the gym for the quiz bee, and some are busy with the organization," he simply answered before he continued. "It's more like a vacant day for the students since there would be an ongoing event."
I could only nod at this as he then turned to the window to look out the field where Gunyeo and Naehyun were. Though, I had other plans. Noticing the work pile that he has, I'm sure that Heejun was busy himself. I'm sure that the student organization wouldn't mind a helping hand.
When he was about to go, I decided to tap him on the shoulder. "I see that you're a bit busy right now."
"It's about the upcoming matches. The swimming team, soccer team, everything should be handled by the council," he answered before raising an eyebrow at me.
Since the two would be at the match, I'm sure that talking to them would probably throw their focus off.
"Is there a reason why you asked about this?" he added before I decided to request for half of the papers in his hand. He was hesitant at first but handed it to me afterward — still confused as to why.
I then smiled at him instead, nodding over to the window. "Gunyeo and Naehyun would probably be busy in the meantime. Also, I wanted to help with the decorations or probably with the council."
He thought about it for a moment, judging by the furrowed brows and a thinking pose. After that, he agreed and decided to let me follow him. The student council was on the third floor as well as the classrooms of the seniors.
As soon as we arrived at the room, Yoonwoo and Jihun were the first ones to turn their gazes at us. Jihun raised his eyebrow at me while Yoonwoo waved his hand as a greeting.
"Oh, shorty's here," Jihun said as I only sighed before letting it slide. At this rate, I'm used to it by now. Jihun was quite surprised when I paid no attention to the nickname and went over to follow his friend.
Heejun then showed me all the papers that were on his table, pointing his finger to where it was, and I could already tell that some of those were about the match.
Maybe he wanted me to keep a check if each person could really be in the match. I was correct though since he told me he had to monitor the preparations being made at the gym and ordered me to go over the list.
Though, looking at it already makes me dizzy. It was like a stack of paperwork.
"If you need me, I'll be at the gym, alright? Thanks for also assisting me over this," Heejun answered as he then gave me a smile, his dimple showing. I nodded, letting out a deep breath. Well, here we go.
After Heejun left the room, I made sure to start my work so I can finish it early. Though, I kept on being distracted by Jihun staring at the documents in my hand.
He even sat across me, which made it harder for me to stay and keep on going over the papers.
"You do know that you don't have to do this," Jihun started as he spins on his swivel chair. I shook my head at this. No, not really. It was my own will that wanted to help — considering that it was indeed a vacant day. I had no other match and most of the students would be at the match.
Looking over the names, I then saw Jihun grabbing the other papers and then swiveled his way next to me.
"You know, you can always sort it this way," he told me before organizing them into categories. "The swimming team would be over here, the soccer in this part, and the chess team for the right side."
I quickly thanked him. It took us a while to do everything but eventually, all I had to do was to check if everyone was there so I listed all the names on a paper before putting it on a clipboard.
I finally bid farewell to the two, who seem quite busy on another task.
I decided to fast walk towards the gym, considering that the sooner I get there, the faster I could help.
When I get there, I saw a lot of chairs being arranged and curtains being fixed by those people at the ladders. Some were on the benches, putting some decorations away, and Heejun walking towards me — his hand waving to greet me.
I was about to wave back when suddenly, he came running.
"Eysee, watch out!"

After I finish all of the categories, major editing would be done. Thank you!
