Chapter 3

Hope POV

"and what the fuck do you mean? save us?" Lizzie asked

"well, your dad called my aunt and said that you and Josie needed help or you may be in danger of dying and by the look on your face, I know I have just been punked" I say

"well, it's the weekend, and there isn't any flights back until monday so your staying" Alaric said

"you were behind this?" I asked

"I missed you, and you wouldn't have come" he said

"damn right I wouldn't have come! I only came here to make sure both of the twins are safe" I say

"aww you care about me too?" lizzie asked

"this is not the time lizzie" I said

"welp" she says

"listen hope, it's only for 2 days relax" he says

"don't tell me to relax" I say

"hope?" a familar voice said

"maya?" I say

she ran to hug me

"what are you doing here?" she said before breaking the hug

"I was here to save the twins but looks like they don't need saving" I say

"you didn't see josie. so how would you know?" lizzie asked

"and I will like to pass up on that offer, I will be staying at my family's cabin that is 20 minutes away.  since I'm already here why don't we catch up? what do you say lizzie?" I asked

"sure" she says

JOSIE POV

lizzie was taking to long. so it's either my dad is in serious trouble or she is.

I went looking for lizzie until I heard a familiar voice. The voice caused a tear to slide down my cheek. why am I crying? this must be a pregnancy thing.

"Hope?" I said before turning the corner

"wow" hope says

"why is she here dad?" I asked

"well, dad here tricked her into coming for the weekend" lizzie says

"and how did he do that? last time I wanted her to stay she gave 0 fucks" I said

"language" my dad says

"dad told hope's aunt that we were in danger and she got on the first flight down here just to be surprised by a whole prank" lizzie says

"oh." I say

"when is she leaving?" I added

"she is right here, and I'm leaving now" hope says

"great! can you leave any faster?" I asked

"she's not going back to new Orleans, she's just leaving the school until she goes back on monday" lizzie say

"very discreet on the info liz" hope said

I smiled a bit, I don't know why

"that's funny, because josie said the same thing to me when I told mg about the baby" lizzie says

"LIZZIE!" I said

"oh shit! I forgot" she says

"what baby?" hope asked

"Hope, I think we need to talk" I say

"ok, but what baby?" she asked

"that's why she wants to talk dumb ass" lizzie says

Hope wasn't moving fast enough so I grabbed her hand and lead her towards my room and closed the door.

"I thought we were just talking" hope said

"we are!" I said

"so what's up?" she asked me

"well, here's the big surprise, I'm pregnant" I say

"so you moved on already?" she asked

"no. but bigger surprise, it's yours" I say
