Chapter 23

Lizzie POV

After I got off the phone with Hope, I told the finch girl that she needs to go.

"What do you and Josie have going on?" I asked
"Well, Josie is my friend and I haven't heard from her in a while. I was wondering if you could tell her to call me so I can make sure she is safe or something" she said
"Okay, no problem" I said

And with that she left.

I called Hope again.

Hope POV

"What is it Lizzie?" I said as I picked up the phone
"Everything is okay, she is just a friend checking up on Josie" Lizzie says
"Okay, thanks for letting me know, but Josie is getting serious pains like every minute" I said
"What do you mean every minute? Is she having contractions?" Lizzie asked
"It's too early for that. She is only 8 months" I said
"She is 8 months and a half meaning she's 37 weeks" Lizzie said
"I need you to go check on her and count every time she goes through pain.
She might be having contractions" Lizzie says

"Uhhh hope!!" Josie says

I ran to her
"Yes bunny?" I asked
"I think my water just broke" she said
"Lizzie is that normal?" I asked Lizzie
"Yes it's perfectly normal. Hope I need you to get her to the hospital and mg, dad and I will compel us a plane down there" Lizzie said

Before I could say anything else she hung up.

"Come on bunny" I lifted her up and brought her to my car.

I'm so glad I was prepared for this.
I ran upstairs and grabbed Josie some changing clothes. I can do the car seat and everything when I get back home. Josie had to stay in the hospital for 3 days anyways.

"HOPE HURRY!" She said

I ran down the stairs put her bag into the car and started driving.

"Hey Siri call aunt bex" I said
"Okay, calling aunt bex" Siri said

"What in the bloody hell do you want I was-"
"Your about to be a great aunt, I need you to do me a favor" I said
"I am??? Anything... what is it?" My aunt said
"I need you too inform the others, their niece is about to become a mother" I said proudly

"I will and marcel and I are on our way. Which hospital are you going to?" She asked
"The witch doctor that's 15 minutes away from where I live. And by the looks of it we are already here" I said
"Got to go bye, I love you" I said before hanging up

"Hope, I can't do this! It hurts so bad! Please make it stop!" Josie cried out

"Listen bunny, I love you and we are going to get through this this together. Always and forever" I said
"You never said that to me before" Josie said
"Well now I did. And I mean it" I said

I picked Josie up and carried her in.

"She's in labor!" I told the nurse at the main desk.
