Chapter 33

Hope POV

"Hey babe, so I was thinking we can go visit my sister" Josie said
"I thought you didn't want hunter to travel until he was like 5 months" I said
"I don't. That's why I'm asking your aunt freya to watch him" she said

"Do you like Josette mikaelson or Josette saltzman-mikaelson better?" I asked

She smiled and gave me a chaste kiss.
"I like the second one better" she says
"I was thinking the same thing" I said

"Waaahhh!" Hunter cried

We could hear him on the monitors

"I got this" I said

I got up and went to hunter.

"Hey mr. Sweet face. What's the matter?" I asked
"Ohh-ohh" hunter says
"Mr.sweet face? Did you just make your first baby noise?" I said happily

I held him tightly and walked into me and Jo's room with hunter.

"Guess what?" I said
"What!" Josie said in her excited baby noise
"Hunter said 'ohh-ohh' his first baby noise besides crying" I said
"Okay, so I need to spend more time with you mr.cuddles. Mommy is getting you too do too much things for the first time" Josie said in her baby voice

"Mr.cuddles?" I asked
"Oh, that's just something that mg and Lizzie calls him, I kind of picked up on it" she says
"Oh okay" I said
"We need to go for his monthly check up next week before he turns 3 months" Josie said

"Okay, and then I was thinking maybe we can plan a family gathering with all his family and our friends to celebrate him" I said

"That's fine with me, but this will all have to happen after we visit Lizzie, she says she has important news for us" Josie says

"Okay" I said before looking back over to hunter.

He was fast to sleep.

"I think we are wonderful parents" I said
"I know we are" Josie said before planting a kiss on my lips

"So Tomorrow we have to leave and we are staying for 2 days" Josie says
"Two whole days! Without mr.sweet face? I don't know if I could do it" I said
"He's in good hands unless you don't trust your aunts" Josie says
"I do trust them, I just have never missed a day out of hunters life. I don't want to leave and then he making new sounds" I said

"Babe, I don't want to leave him either, but it's only for 2 days and then I could have him in my arms first thing Monday" she said

"Yeah your right, maybe we do need some alone time with 'mr.cuddles'" I said

"Eww, why did you say it like that?" Josie asked me

"Because I like mr. Sweet face better and all these names we are calling him, he's going to get confused and then when he starts walking and talking he ain't gonna even know who to go to when they call him 'mr.cuddles' or when I call him mr. Sweet face" I said

"Ok then, no more mr.cuddles" Josie said in her baby voice as she kissed hunters head
