Hope POV

I could have sworn josie just told me I got her pregnant.

"How do you know it's mine? girls can't have babies with another girl biologically" I say

"you're the only one I have been with since the whole break up. Trust me I don't want to have to deal with you at all" she says

"so, are you keeping the baby?" I asked

"well, yeah. You don't have to agree to co parenting. I just wanted you to know because you deserves to know" Josie says

"why don't we go find out how it's possible for you to get pregnant by me and after that I promise you I will be in our child life, no matter what" I say

"I didn't tell my dad" she says

"how far a long are you?" I asked

"I didn't go to a check up either, I just found out today" she says

"if this is something to get me to stay-" I was saying

"you think I care if you stay or if you leave? I was planning on raising this child by myself anyways" she said
"Are you serious? You weren't going to tell me?" I asked
"No, but now that you know, we need to make sure it's yours and not some magically implanted baby in me that isn't even both of ours" she said
"We need to go to New Orleans, I know a person that can see how far along you are and if I'm the other parent" I say
"Great, now I just have to tell my dad" she says

"Hey dr.saltzman" I say
"Look I'm sorry hope, and if it makes you feel any better I got you a flight back tomorrow" he says
"Well, thanks for that, but Josie and I have big news, that we want to share with you" I said
"Are you guys getting married? If so I am totally all for it" he said extra happy

I could tell I was his favorite person that Josie has dated because he already saw me as a daughter to him.

"No, but you might not be happy after we tell you this" I say
"Well, what is it?" He asked
"Umm jo, do the honors" I said
"What? You want me to do it?" She asked
"Yeah, he's your dad" I said
"Ughhh! Fine" she says
"Can you guys just tell me what it is?" He asked
"I'm pregnant dad" Josie said
"What? By who? Hope I swear I'm going to kill who ever the father is no need to worry" he says
"Dad?" Josie said
"Josie, you moved on that fast?" He asked
"That makes 4 people today who has asked me who the father is" she says
"Well, who is he?" Dr. Saltzman asked
"I'm the other parent dr.saltzman, please don't be mad" I said

He ran up to me and hugged me. Before I could react started ...... crying?

"Hey dr. Saltzman? Are you okay?" I asked
"You are finally going to be come family, not that you aren't family already but this time it's through blood" he says as she wiped his tears away

"So dad your not mad?" Josie asked
