Chapter 39

Josie POV

I called Lizzie up and she didn't pick up. I then called the only person I know would be with her.

"Hello Mg?" I said
"Yes Josie?" He said
"I'd Lizzie with you?" I asked
"She is currently cleaning and have her phone turned off" Mg says
"Can you tell her I really need her and it's important" I said
"Okay, I will tell her now" Mg says

A few seconds later I hear Lizzie's voice.

"Hello jo, what's up? Is Hope awake?" She asked
"No. But the only way to wake her up sooner is if we test hunters magic" I said
"What are you crazy? He's just a baby" she said

"Listen! He will be safe. We just need to take the magic out of him by siphoning him." I said
"And how do you know this will work?" She asked
"Well because freya come up with this plan and I just have a gut feeling that it will" I said
"I'll be over there, just give me about 20 minutes" she says
"Great! See you then" I said before hanging up

What if this doesn't work? What if I risk my sons life and hope's. What if she wakes up and our son is dead because of me. I will literally die before I let anything bad happen to hunter even if he's a pain in the ass.

"Let's get this going shall we?" I said as I walked into the house

"Lizzie said yes?" Freya asked
"Yes, but freya I must ask, what are the side effects of this?" I asked

"Well, If hunter gets a cold, it means he needs a little time to recover from the spell but if he doesn't get one at all, hope may need to rest for a couple of days because she will be the sick one" Freya says

So either way you put it one of the 2 people I love most will be sick while I'm germ free. What is fucking life!

Lizzie POV

I arrived at Hope and Josie's house about 30 minutes after she called me

"Sorry I took longer than expected. I lost track of time" I said
"It's okay, we just need you to get ready because as soon as I transfer the magic into hunter than you in 10 seconds I need you to siphon it away" Freya says

"So how will it work? How will hope come back?" I asked
"Hope and hunter has a connection that nobody else has. If hunter body feels the magic for even a second it will alert hopes body and immediately reduce it with magic" Freya says

"Okay let's do this" Josie said

Freya then said a spell and hunter started crying. I closed my eyes and left out a tear. Hope will kill us if she knows what we are doing.

Freya tells us it's done. We count to 10 and then started to siphon hunters magic. He opened his eyes and when we were done siphoning Josie immediately picked him up and checked to see if he was okay.

"What's going on?" I heard a familiar voice say
