From two to Three

Chapter 17

Hope POV

We arrived back at my house in New Orleans.

"I thought you said we were going on a business trip you lying ass hat" Lizzie said
"Well I couldn't tell Josie where I was going" I said
"And why is that?" Lizzie asked
"Well because it's a surprise" I said

"What is so much of a surprise that you have to come down here every weekend" Lizzie said

"Go inside you will see" I said

Lizzie got out the car and entered my house.

Lizzie POV

When I entered the house I seen amazing furniture in the living room and wow I didn't know she was loaded like this.

"Damn mikaeson!" I said
"Yup. And this isn't even the best part" she said
"Follow me" she added

We walked upstairs and it was this door with the letter SM on it.

"What does sm stand for?" I asked
"Saltzman-mikaelson. We haven't decided on a name yet so I just put his last name initials" she said
"Go in" she added

I walked into the room and seen a blue colored room. The walls were painted blue and there was a white crib.

It had a baby blanket in there with baby bears decorated on it.

The walls had white clouds painted on it and a shelf was attached to the wall with a picture of the ultrasound and a few family pictures of Josie and I and Josie and Hope.

"I put those up so the baby knows who we are and I read about it in a book so I thought maybe just put some up" Hope said

"Hope this is amazing"  I said

I turned around and seen a white dresser with a changing station.

"You really thought a lot about this didn't you?" I asked
"Well it's not done" she said
"It's not done?" I asked
"I have to get a rocking chair so I could read to the baby, I also read that reading to the baby will make them smarter" Hope said

"My nephew is going to be smart no matter what, but I love that idea" I said

I also seen a wall with nothing on it.

"What are you going to do with this?" I asked

"I'm going to have hunter written all over it" she said
"What for real? You guys are naming him hunter?" I asked
"I want to make him hunter , I don't know I'd Josie does but if she does I will put his name up there" she says

"So why didn't you want to show Josie?" I asked
"Well, Josie already made up her mind. She says that we will do co-parenting so showing her this will only make her tear up" she said
"I hope you know that Josie would live with you if you just asked" I said
"I'm thinking about asking her. I have a guest room and everything for her to stay in" she said
"A guest room? Really?" I asked
"Well I don't want to ask her to sleep with me. She would think I want to be with her and I don't want her to think. That if she is not ready to settle back down with me. And I honestly wouldn't blame her if she said no" Hope said
