From two to Three

Chapter 8

Josie POV

In the middle of the night I woke up to the baby kicking my stomach, the baby was feisty, they wouldn't let me sleep.

I got up to go get something to eat and the baby liked it after a while so I made my way upstairs and the last step the baby started kicking constantly and wouldn't stop.

I groaned in pain.

"Josie? Is that you?" I heard Hope say
"Yeah, I'm fine" I said
"Are you really?" She said

I didn't say anything because the pain was getting worse and worse.

Soon Hope ran to the stairs and I felt her pick me up.

"It's okay hope. I'm fine" I said
"Sure you are" she said

She then took me to her room and placed me on her bed.

"You could sleep on my bed if you want it's more comfortable and I'll sleep in the guest room" she says

The baby immediately started kicking again.

"I don't think the baby will like that" I groaned in pain

"Ok I'll sleep with you, and lay at the bottom" she said

"Okay" I said

We then got into bed and the baby didn't kick at first and after about 10 minutes they started kicking again.

"Hope it's not working" I cried out
"It's ok, it's ok" she says

She then started to sing to the baby and brought her mouth closer to my stomach.

"It's okay baby, don't hurt mommy" she sung

This time the baby didn't kick. I soon fell asleep.

Hope POV

I was singing to the baby when I realized Josie had fell asleep, so I payed my head closer to her stomach just in case the baby cause her anymore pain.

It was about 10 in the morning and I was up first.

I got up and went to the kitchen and started making all of Josie's favorite things. I even made bacon just for Lizzie because Josie doesn't eat bacon.
Josie doesn't really eat breakfast but if she does it would be pancakes so I made her some and made Lizzie some blueberry because she loves it, or at least I hope she still does.

"Why are you up early?" Lizzie asked me
"This isn't early, I usually wake up at 6 but the baby kept Josie up and I wouldn't be able to sleep if Josie was going through that much pain" I say
"That's nice of you mikaelson" Lizzie says
"So, it looks like you made all my favorites, you still remember" she said

"How could I forget my best friends favorite things" I said

"Smells good" she said before reaching over to grab a piece of bacon

"So, you say Josie was up all night, how did you get her to fall asleep?" Lizzie asked

"Well the baby was kicking her constantly so I just sang the baby a song and after that I think the baby fell asleep" I said

"You are going to be a wonderful mom" Lizzie says
"Hopefully, I'm even the mom of that little one" I say
"So when are you guys going to see if you are the other mom and the gender and stuff" she says

"I don't know if Josie wants to know the gender and we are going at 12 so we can be there by 2 it only takes 1 hour on the plane" I said

"I definitely want to know the gender" I heard Josie say
