"Phil please slow down, your walking to fast!" y/n says running trying to keep up with the determined Coulson
"y/n, Director Fury and your sister will be arriving shortly wanting to know what is happening with the tesseract, we got to be there when they land" the man replies the girl just sighs before continuing running after him
The two agents stop running when they reach the helipad. The brunette fixes her jacket and straightens up, so she looks presentable for the Director and so her sister does not make fun of her.
"Y/n please take this seriously" Phil says watching the girl fix her uniform amused, he gives her a pair of glasses to which she takes and puts on confused
"late night?" he asks she chuckles before pushing the glasses onto her face covering her hungover eyes
"It was the first time in a while Jacob and I were together so we got a bit carried away even if it was on facetime" the brunette replied making Phil laugh
"Ah young Love"
"How is Celist?" y/n asks Phil looks down sad
"she moved away unfortunately"
"Oh I am so sorry" The helicopter approaches the helipad making the two stand tall and turn serious
Director Fury and Agent Maria Hill get out of the aircraft and approach the two
"How bad is it?" Fury asks
"That's the problem Sir, we don't know" Coulson replies, Y/n turns leading them all down to Dr Selvig and the tesseract. Where technicians and agents are packing stuff up evacuating.
"Dr Selvig read an energy surge from the tesseract four hours ago" The girl says stopping in the lab, looking at the tesseract in the back room.
"NASA Didn't authorize Selvig to test" The director replies making y/n smile
"well that is the fascinating part Nick, he wasn't testing it, he was not even in the same room" Y/n says excitedly. Making Maria roll her eyes at her sisters dorkiness and unprofessional behavior.
"spontaneous advancement" Phil continues nodding at y/n
"it just turned itself on?" Maria asked
"what are the energy levels now?" Fury asked before y/n can continue going full geek Phil speaks
"climbing when Selvig couldn't shut it down we ordered the Evac" Fury nods and looks around the lab
"how long to get everyone out?"
"we should have everyone out in about 30 minutes" y/n replies Nick just looks at the two
"do better" With that Coulson goes to help with the evac, y/n goes to join
"y/n follow stick with me" Fury says y/n nods and waves Phil goodbye
The three continue further through the radiation lab.
"Sir evacuation may be useless" Maria starts causing y/n to raise a brow
"We should tell them to go back to sleep? he replies
"If we can't control the tesseracts energy..." She starts
"there may not be a minimum safe distance" y/n finishes
"Ok Maria I need you to make sure that PHASE 2 prototypes are shipped out" Fury orders the two sisters just look at each other and Maria becomes agitated
"Sir is that really a priority right now?" She remarks, y/n nodding in agreement. Fury just turns to the two
"until such times as the world ends , we will act as though it intends to spin on. Clear out the tech below. Ensure every tech, piece of phase 2 are on trucks and gone" He orders Maria who nods leaving to do as he said. Leaving Fury and Y/n to continue walking over to Selvig
