After getting the aircraft up and running, and flying out of the building... damaging the castle as we left. Thor flew the aircraft, dodging and weaving avoiding the parade of guards and Asgardian aircrafts chasing us.

Listening to the brothers bicker, I can't help but think of Maria and how we argue about things that were ridiculous. I just hope she is not stressing about me, God knows she can be overprotective some times. The thought of my sister brings a smile to my face, before I hear a thud next to me.

I look to my left and see Jane collapsed against the floor, unconscious. I curse and quickly crouch down to her checking her pulse.

"Oh dear is she dead?" Loki asks, voice flat and monotone. I look up and glare at him,  glancing at Thor. I watch as his eyes widen with fear for his girlfriend.

"Jane" Thor calls nervously, I shift her so she is facing up, her back against the ground. "Her breathing is steady, perhaps the aether caused her energy to deplete and she has collapsed" I state.

"Well the unconscious part was obvious" Loki scoffs, again I look up and glare. Thor nods turning his attention back to flying the aircraft.

"I'm ok" Jane croaks her eyes fluttering open. I hum, standing up and walking to Thor and Loki, watching how the jet worked.

"How are you alive?" Loki says, breaking the newly formed silence. Thor doesn't turn to meet my gaze, not wanting to be apart of the conversation. I sigh turning to Loki.

"What do you mean?" I ask, confused with which time he is referring too, which sounds absurd that I have already had more than one near death and I am only just entering my twenties

"How come my mother a Goddess died.... and you are breathing and standing in front of me?" He clarifies, voice lacing with arrogance and annoyance.

"The Malekith did not intend to kill your mother.." I pause taking a deep breath, worried with how I phrase this. "..but when he discovered that Jane was an illusion and was not in the room, he grew irritated and frustrated and took his anger out on the source of the illusion... being Frigga" I say softly, I see his eyes dart to behind me to Jane then back at me, narrowing on my face. Scanning my face to see if I am telling the truth.

"So you just stood by and watched?" He says instead voice strong and angered.

"No, I -" Loki moves toward me, steps heavy, hands clenching into fist as he makes his way to me. "You bare no injuries, bruises or cuts. How did a mortal who claims to have fought walk away with not even a scratch" He spits lifting his arm and grabbing my arm examining it for bruises.

I hastily pull away and push him away, creating distance between us. I look to Thor behind him to see him eyes closed and taking deep breaths.

"Loki...look I never had a mother, or a mother figure growing up" I start looking at him cautiously. "And I don't say that for sympathy or what not, but your mother... Frigga. Even in the short span of time that I knew her" Loki retreats his hands eyes starting to droop down to his feet. I take this as a sign to continue. "She treated me like her own, or at least she showed me the compassion and gave me courage. So yes I am still alive, and for that I will always live with that fact. No I couldn't protect her, but Loki..." I glance over to Thor who has since started tearing up "Thor, she died protecting your family, however dysfunctional it may be" I say turning around away from them, sucking my bottom lip inside my mouth refraining myself from crying.

I hear footsteps approach me and turn to see Loki walk over to me, taking a deep breath I prepare for the onslaught of threats. Instead he just stops in front of me and stares at me. "I still don't forgive you" he says then walks away. I nod and force a smile taking a seat against the wall.

After my confession and Loki's statement, I had fallen asleep. How I was able to sleep while we dodged blasts, I would not know. But I woke up to Thor and Loki yelling at each and other and the door of the aircraft opening. I quickly jumped to my feet and walked over to them.

"Will you two please shut up!" I say, Loki turns to me and smirks walking toward me, Thor grunts walking after Loki. Loki grabs my shoulders and if I hadn't just woken up maybe I would have thought about fighting off his tough grip as he quickly flung me off the ship.

I scream as I fall, completely forgetting Fandral was below us on our escape aircraft. I feel into arms, a grunt escaping me as I open my eyes and see Fandral looking down at me with a charming smile.

"Thanks Fandral" I smile, getting out of his arms and fixing myself up, another yell could be heard as Loki falls from out of the aircraft landing on his back in front of me, the wind from his decent blowing hair in front of my face, I blow it out of my eyes and glare at the God as he cringes at his landing. Thor and Jane land shortly afterwards.

"I see your time the dungeons has made you no less graceful Loki" Fandral says mockingly. I smirk at Loki's grunt. Thor places Jane down as she sits down.

"You lied to me" Loki says turning around to Thor who shrugs sending me a wink

"I'm impressed" Loki continues

"I'm glad you are impressed" Thor says unimpressed.

"Now, do as you promised" I say, making Loki grin and take the wheel. And steering us toward his secret pathway.

I bid farewell to Fandral as he leaves to give us time, I take a last glance at Asgard as my time here is nearly up.

When I see where Loki is flying us toward I almost have a heart attack "LOKI ARE YOU MAD?" I yell, raising my voice so he can hear me over the loud whir of the boosters. He just makes us go quicker

"POSSIBLY" He yells back, I flinch holding onto the aircraft for support as we squeeze through the crevice of the cliff, the speed and friction between the mountain causing us to jump and travel Svartalfheim, one of the nine realms, home to the dark elves and our destination.
